Really don't understand the negative review but I have only had it one day but has been great so far did have to install it upside down because of the angle I put it but that doesn't seem like it causes any issues.

The is magnetic phone mount works really well. This WixGear phone mount installs easily, is VERY solid and I'm 100% confident that the phone won't accidentally come off. When tapping on the screen the phone doesn't move at allI was using an iottie Easy One Touch 4 that mounted on the top of the dash with a suction cup. The arm suspended the phone over the edge of the dash, and it clipped in from the sides. When it got hot, the suction cup would give up and the phone could fall face first. I was concerned that my screen could get broken and it did fall a couple of times. Also, the mechanism that held the phone from the side was temperamental and constantly wanted to close after taking the phone out of the cradle. The WixGear works so much better and the phone mounts much more solidly. PLUS it's about 40% of the price of the iottie.ONE COMPLAINT:The way you are instructed to install the mount the magnetic piece can NOT be tilted below parallel to the mounting plate. What that means is if you mount it on a portion of the dash that is leaning away from you the phone can't be tilted down to more face you. That makes it really solid and if you defy the instructions and mount it upside down I don't know if it might slip. I would think that would work, but just know that if you're going to mount this on a portion of the dash that faces up toward the roof, your phone will, TOO. I wish it could also tilt DOWN about 20° for installations on tilted dashes.Regarding security that the Amazon review allows 1 to 5 stars...there NO security features so the rating shouldn't even apply. The phone is held with a magnet. Anyone could just grab your phone and run if you leave it unattended. Who leaves their phone unattended in the cradle, anyway?

After reading some of the reviews on this item and seeing a few people talking about how the 3M pad didn't stick, I was a bit weary about buying this item. I thought that since they were only 10 bucks a piece, I would give them a go. I bought two; one for my wifes car and one for mine. I didn't bother with the provided wipes as typically they don't have enough alcohol on them to clean anything. I just some we had at the house and a paper towel. Cleaned the area, waited a minute or two for it to dry then placed the thing on the dash. I pressed firmly for about 2 minutes then left them be for about 2 hours. Went out and popped the magnet onto the ball arm and presto, it stuck. Been a couple of weeks now with several days in the high 80 and mid 90s, and they are still there. I use mine with my iPhone 6+ that has a wallet case on it.I saw there were some questions about wallet cases and the effects of the magnets on these cares.I did some looking around the Internet for some answers and I read that if you have your cars with the magnetic strip pointing away from the this mount AND use your drivers license between the mount and the other cards, there should not be a problem. I figured I can just replace mine if this didn't work but so far they still work well. I can not verify if this will work on oll wallet cases but I can on the following case, which I bought of Amazon at the same time I bout these mounts. iPhone 6s Plus Wallet Case, ZVE Shockproof iPhone 6 plus Leather case with Credit Card Holder Pockets & ID Card Slot Holder, Protective Card cover For Apple iPhone 6 Plus / 6S Plus 5.5inch Black These work very well and I am happy with them so far. So I actually really like this phone mount bc the magnet is super powerful but unfortunately that won’t matter unless I can get it to stick. I paid for the 3M tape that it came with and neither (the one that came on the mount nor the additional one that came with it) stuck to the dash after following instructions to a T. Ordered some heavy duty Gorilla double sided tape. I’ll give it to 3M, the surface is on a SLIGHT curve but I feel like it still should’ve stuck. A partial refund would be nice but not expecting it haha

I bought this mount as an upgrade from the small, round WizGear magnetic dash mount (link provided at the end of this review).My initial impressions were much better than that of the smaller round mounts I purchased before. The magnets were more widely spaced, the suction of the magnets was plenty strong, and the rubber surface of the mount was just as soft as the previous mount I used.Installation was very easy. In fact, I did not use the provided base with this mount, but simply replaced the round mount part with this rectangular mount. The ball of the old base matched the socket of this mount perfectly. It was a little tricky getting it threaded back on due to the larger size of the mount itself, but it was still a one-minute process.As stated in my review on the smaller mount, I had to mount the metal plate below the wireless charging/pay antenna located in the center of my phone. As a result, my phone's center of gravity was well above the magnetic mount, causing it to spin one way or the other during hard turns and while traveling over rough roads. I literally installed this mount last night and drove my usual route to work this morning. My phone did not budge once.Overall, I am VERY impressed with this mount. My phone in the the car

I was concerned that the glue would not hold on a vertical surface, but after one month it's still holding strong. I put in on in December worried that the cold would keep the glue from sticking (I warmed up the interior before installing). The included "wet" wipe, was completely dry, so instead I used some rubbing alcohol to clean the surface before sticking. I have Huawei P20 Pro in a case and the magnet is more than strong enough to hold it in place firmly (I'm using the glue-on metal plate on my phone). The mount is plastic and the arm would probably snap if you hit it but under normal use I am sure this thing will hold up for a long time.Update: Still holding well 3 months later.

I have a huge cellphone (Ulefone Armor 3) and this stand old it in place perfectly. My old sheep one have took off under the heavy weight. I use the WizGear Magnetic Car Mount Holder 10-12 days and have never regretted buying it. My smartphone has a diagonal of 6 '99 inches and I needed a reliable holder. And I found it. Very comfortable, well fixed on the panel, easy to rotate. The magnet keeps the smartphone very reliable. Very pleased with the purchase and recommend to others.

Surprisingly good product. Very strong adhesive for mounting. Holds Galaxy S6 really firmly, so much easier to use than a mechanical mount. I did end up snapping the mount off one I had in my work truck but that was because I mounted it in a spot where it got kicked or hit by someone's knee. I would definitely recommend this product.PS: I use an Otter Box and found it better to stick the metal plate on the outside of the case, not inside.

overall happy. stuck this on a slightly curved surface. its been up for a few days and i don't see it coming off from any corner/side. magnets are VERY strong. if i try to pull the phone straight off the magnets (and the metal plate is inside my phone cover) i am sure the adhesion will come off the dash. i just twist it sideways and it comes off like with zero effort.
