This record weight is a bit lighter than the more thicker ones, this one is a lightweight but still does the job I like to use this one with portable record players and belt drive turntables because it doesn't interfere with the spin of the record doesn't cause any damage to the belt Drive. It's smaller than most record weights and that's what makes it attractive for portable player use and belt drive turntables I like the shine it is incredibly beautiful in person makes the turntable look great and it also adds some weight to your vinyl so that your stylist can pick up a better base response from the music, have you ever tried using one? Try using this one before using a larger one because the larger ones can cause damage to your belt drive I only recommend those for direct drive professional turntables . tried this one I recommend it and I am satisfied.

The weight works just fine and doesn’t move around at all, but the level in the middle doesn’t work. The bubble likes to ride the left side of the circle when level, I’ve tried to correct it but it won’t move. Not sure if this is a universal issue or it’s just my experience.

I have 2 weights one with bubble level one without. I have 2 suspended Turntables so I don't want too heavy. Just enough to secure the record. works well and I like the finished look

Respecto a servir de peso para mejorar la calidad de sonido, la verdad me parece lo mismo, de pronto si mejora un poco la funcionalidad mecánica en el brazo para los discos torcidos, pero los pocos que tengo así, no estaban tan torcidos como para afectar el sonido. Igual tiene buena calidad y se nota robusto.

I have been searching for a while to find a turntable weight that is not excessively heavy. According to the spec's of my turntable, the suggested center weight is around 6 oz., but the weight suggested to accompany my turntable is $60. I didn't want to pay $60. I stumbled upon this one, and it is just under 6 oz., and less than $20. Perfect... except the hole is not a tight fit on the spindle. It didn't take me long to learn how to center it before playback, but this may be a concern of others, perhaps even a deal breaker. I could maybe find a small rubber grommet to insert and tighten up the fit, but haven't yet. Anyhow, those are my comments. Overall, not a bad product, good value, but certainly not exceptional.
