L'instant De Guerlain By Guerlain For Women. Eau De Toilette Spray 2.7-Ounce

A friend of ours was wearing this one evening and my wife and I both loved the scent. When I tried to buy it in several local department stores I was told there was no such perfume made by Guerlain. When I recounted my experience someone suggested looking on the Internet. Duh.I've never been too much into perfume, finding most of it to me very heavy and oppressive. So many of them seem to smell nearly that same as well. Oddly enough however, I have always loved the scent of Shalimar, which also sold my Guerlain. But unfortunately my wife says it smells too much like "old lady" perfume. Well, that was nearly 20 years ago when we first met. Now that she's 20 years older, perhaps she will indulge me. There was also another Guerlain perfume that my wife and I both liked that was called Mahura. Unfortunately, that scent is no longer available.Nonetheless, L'instant is a delightful scent, not too heavy and very feminine. I give my wife a bottle nearly every year as it is all she has worn for the past 10 years or so.

I opened the bottle today and sprayed it on expecting the scent I've worn for years. I started sneezing immediately and had to wipe it off. I don't know what's going on - same name but this is Not the perfume/scent I have been wearing/buying for years. It is not the L'instant by Guerlain that strange handsome men in elevators tell me I smell wonderful, guys say they could follow me around all day, or I smell like an island breeze. Very disappointed. I Will be sending it back.Update - I went on line to return and it said it was a flammable... substance and could not be returned! What?! I called Amazon customer service and she was professional, friendly, helpful and took care of the issue immediately. Note: this is note a bad scent just different ingredient & not for me, The right one is on the way. Thank you Heidi & Amazon for your great service!

Light fragrance. I can’t smell it on me but have had countless individuals ask what I was wearing. Worn it for years. My husband loves it.

My Daughter in Law wears this and it smells just beautiful on her! Very elegant, soft, not spicy or floral, just a very "elegant" fragrance. Definitely for special occasions, clean and fresh scent. I highly recommend this for any special Lady!

I love this fragrance. My daughter had just bought some about six months ago, and I went looking for some for myself. I was delighted to find a good price at this seller. It arrived on time, but the perfume appeared old. Rather than its characteristic pale pink it was orangy and it's scent was not as expected. I followed Amazon's methods of contacting the seller and received a prompt email from the seller saying that they would contact me. They did, with another email with a phone number. I have left several messages on the voicemail at the other end of the phone number to no avail. I am frustrated at having spent $50, received an inferior product, made every reasonable attempt to contact the seller, and had no human response. I would not recommend this seller.

This is a subtle fragrance which is perfect for me. My husband loves it.
