Dimensional Analysis for Meds, 4th Edition

I used this book for my math health care class.This book was very easy to use and learn from. It also gives you the answers to every self check so it helps you find the real answer if you got it wrong. It does contain an error or two but most books are like that. This book really made my class really easy to pass an get an A. It's really easy to read the book and understand it that is why I give it 5 stars also I actually learned a lot of new things from this college book.

I received the correct edition of this book with absolutely no errors so I really have no complaints. I do know, however, that for some reason early printings of this edition do have some math errors and typos. I guess it's just pure luck which one you get but I'm very happy with mine. Sure, it is basic math, but it teaches you some different formulas for specifically calculating dosages and conversions.

I can’t imagine a better text for med calculating. Makes it easy and breaks it down. If you use DA most of your problems become one step. I have made 100s easily in this class only studying this book!

I needed the book for the summer semester and ordered it in the first week. It reached me within the same week. It did not have a CD though but the book was in perfect shape just as advertised. Drug calculations problems for nursing students are explained very well in this book.

Love that you can work through this book. I passed my first drug calc exam on the first try with this book!I paired this book with videos from RegisteredRN from YouTube.

Great information inside. Even if you already know how to do the math, it has useful tips and information, albeit it is information you can find on the internet.

I'm a student nurse, and have to take a medication calculation exam every semester. A passing grade is 100%, because you can't have an error in meds! This is a really wonderful book for learning all that you need to know. Material is beautifully laid out & explained thoroughly, and the practice exams mimic real practice.

This book is definitely for beginners - a little basic but GREAT for those of you just entering nursing school like I was when I purchased this book. Maybe not a necessity but it was helpful - especially in those first two semesters!
