Panasonic KX-TG994SK DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Bluetooth Speakerphone, Talking Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Block, and 4 Handsets (Renewed)

This is a normal home phone, landline. It can be adjusted to receive cell calls but I haven't tried that. The best feature is that it automatically blocks most spam calls. We used to get about 50 calls a day from India. It just asks unknown callers to press 1 before it rings. So we haven't gotten a spam call in months. I got a few surveys, but you can block the number if you want. You can also review the callsit automatically blocks if you want, so you can call back unknown local numbers for example. This is my best purchase in a long time! Don't be afraid of refurbished, works fine.

I had to replace my old set of phones as the screens were broken. These are the first phones that speak who is calling, it can be quite humorous some times. No complaints.

Price was good and great features however with sound up to the max, it should be louder, even on the speaker phone.

Absolutely thrilled with these phones! Packaged nicely, could have used some bubble wrap so wasn't so lose, but they looked brand new! 2 out of 8 batteries needed replaced, but they all work flawlessly for the money saved replacing batteries wasn't a big deal! Sound quality is excellent, and setup was a bit confusing but the instructions were included. Watched a YouTube video and it made better sense. Absolutely 5 star! Would recommend to anyone looking for replacement landlines

Quality is pretty good but phones didn't last long as they started cutting out.

The smart or automatic call block feature is a must have. All (3000) known phone numbers ring through without interuption. All robocalls are dropped as they aren't smart enough to dial a digit when they hit the "unknown number recording" and get disconnected. All but the most intrusive (I've had one in 6 months) live telemarketers hang up when they get to your recording as they know that it isn't worth their time if you went to the effort to have this system. I set it to turn off the first ring so the phone never rings for ALL of those calls. The doctor's office, library etc that you forgot to enter manually all get through and once they do, you can quickly and permanently enter them into your big phone book. They only hit the recording once and after that, it's transparent. There are other systems that have "call block" but most of them is the whack-a-mole system that does not cut down on any calls as the same robo machine will call you three times a day with different phone numbers. Panasonic quality and this one feature makes it the best system. Before you buy any phone system that advertises call block feature, find the manual online to see if it is a "smart or automatic" blocker where the call goes to a recording if it isn't recognized. There is an option to disconnect all unknown callers but I find that might cut off some calls that need to get through but some people might find this useful. These refurb phones are like new but upgrading the low capacity batteries that the refurbers give you is a good idea and well worth the investment (ie 8 pack of eneloop AAAs). If Panasonic is listening, please put the smart call block feature on everything so that we can keep our landlines. I don't use the link to cell but I hear that it is a great feature and works well on this system.

Have always used Panasonic landline phones and have never had any problems with any of them. Enter the new phone system.Everything is fine with the phones. They work as stated and we're fairly easy to program.I installed the re-chargeable batteries that arrived with the units (4 phones, 3 charge units and one base unit. Charged them 8 hours.Everything went fine until then. We always keep one unit on the table until the battery gets low. With our previous phones that would be between 3 and 4 days depending on how much talk time was used. With this system we were getting 7 or 8 HOURS and the phone would announc "low battery" we switched out to another handset and again 7 or 8 hours till low battery. I switched out the cheap re-chargeableaaa batteries and replaced them with quality re-chargeables. Same thing happened again. 7 or 8 hours and handsets announce "low battery"Even happens if the handset doesn't receive ANY CALLS. Don't know if this is normal or not. I am not happy. I will be contacting Panasonic to find out if this is the new normal.

Nice and works well. It’s a new set and it’s working well. Love it and recommend it.

Lo único es que biene un poco manchados de pintura, pero eso no me molesta. Lo que me molesto fue que no traía el conector a la luz, por suerte tenia uno.
