Smaller yet thicker
I have another coin from the same maker. This one is smaller, dual textured but sits differently in my fingers. Strange how it is colouring so quickly, the tarnish is starting after less than 2 weeks of carry.

Fantastic craftsmanship
This is a very nice coin which will age and patina nicely, it seems. The coin arrived with a perfectly brand new finish and the patina began just a couple of days after first holding it. It's now aging well and looking more and more used every day. It's almost become my personal totem; I carry it everyday. This feels like a great gift idea. I really like that this was hand made in the USA by a small business. It came with a thoughtful little handwritten card about the coinery and the family. It feels nice to help someone else realize their passion with a small purchase.
