Leaked out because the lid wasn't screwed on tight!
Smells really good, but the lid wasn't tight on the lavender oil and the jojoba oil I ordered. Both leaked out. Can add pictures if needed.

not too sure
This doesn't smell as great as the lavender essential oil I had been using. I think the difference is the kind of lavender they are using.I found this about 40/42 on essential wholesale. com: Lavender 40/42 is made up of 100% natural lavender oils blended to produce an oil containing 40% linalool and 42% linalyl acetate, which are the two primary aroma compounds occurring in Lavender. This is done with the intention of creating a standardized Lavender aroma, which presents a minimum of variation between batches. The scent of Lavender oil can vary tremendously from lot to lot, from season to season and from growing region to growing region. Small changes in rainfall, atmospheric and soil conditions and cross pollination as well as events occurring during distillation all have an impact on the scent of the oil. Because Lavender oil is such an important ingredient, frequently making up a large percent of a finished manufactured product, variation in the Lavender’s aroma can have a dramatic effect on finished goods. Therefore, many manufacturers count on the reliably consistent aroma of Lavender 40/42.I think I prefer the scent of English lavender. This is a bit harsh to me. I will still use it in everything from my laundry to my room freshener, but know to look for english in the future.

Strong!
I enjoy exploring the world of essential oils.Lavender is one of my favorites. So in the title, this is referred to as "Lavender 40/42 Essential Oil"Since I typically only use essential oils to make my own room spray or in a diffuser, and not things like soaps or cosmetics, that is not a familiar term, or characterization to me.If that is also the case with you, I would encourage you to do a search on lavender oil 40/42.I learned some interesting things doing that search, and it could determine whether this product is a good fit for you or not.In the meantime, it creates a nice strong lavender fragrance in my diffuser. This appears to be a quality product, but I did notice some errors in the printing on the label of the bottle. That may or may not be of concern to you, but it's always a little bit of a red flag to me when there is not great care taken in product descriptions and labeling. This came nicely boxed with the bottle in one part of the box and a nice generous size dropper separated in the other part of the box.I will enjoy using this.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Solid Scent, Not Artificial Smelling At All- Many Uses
I use essential oils for many things. Some of the oils are good for cleaning and higher priced oils are better for medicinal. One of the oils that I use for MANY things is lavender. Having a nice big bottle of lavender makes it great to use around the house.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a nice box well protected. There is a glass dropper on the side and the bottle is a screw on cap with no reducer on it (to make drops). It is an open topped bottle.FRAGRANCEThis oil smells natural without artificial additives or chemicals. It is a nice pleasant lavender smell.WHAT I USE THIS FORI use this for bed sheet spray, cleaners, added to detergents for woolens, diffuser, roll ons, bee stings, scrapes or issues with sudden pain that is not serious, and blends of all types. I also use this in a pain relieving cream that I make.COUNTRY OF ORIGINIndiaTHE BOTTOM LINEThis is a really nice lavender oil. It smells natural without additives and has many uses.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. I plan to keep refilling a smaller bottle with a reducer on it for measuring drops of lavender, and using this open topped bottle for recipes that require larger amounts of lavender oil quickly dispensed.

Smells Fine But No Transparency & It's NOT Organic
This smells lovely, but the brand doesn't provide any key information such as the botanical name, extraction method, Country Of Origin aka COO or any legitimate verifications such Non GMO Verified, USDA Certified Organic or similar, etc.The nose can be fooled. So as mentioned, it smells lovely. I've been working with essential oils for nearly 2 decades. With how popular they've become in more recent years, there is more fraud than ever. I look for the things mentioned above, as well as my nose (sometimes an EO is so blatantly fake, your nose can't be wrong).Last, this leaked during shipment. It made a mess. The odd thing is this was packaged pretty well. No plastic plug though. Still the screw top, plastic seal & the box with the divider for the glass dropper should have been sufficient. The bottle is amber glass. The authenticity of the product is questionable.I like to order larger bottles like this for my cold process (from scratch) milk soap making (using my own animals milk that I milk by hand) because I use 1 ounce of EO per batch of soap. At $2.50 per ounce at the time of my review this is unbelievably cheap. So cheap it seems to good to be true...
