Do you need to refrigerate the wine after using the system?

Since we have wine fridges, we always refrigerate the bottles we have taken glasses of wine from with Coravin. It probably depends on how long you intend to keep the bottles in between Coravin uses. If it's short-term, it probably could stay at room temp but for longer-term wines you want to keep, we think refrigeration is necessary.

What is the difference/advantage of the $300 model (6) vs. the single one for $100?

When you look at the Coravin systems comparisons you can see that the $100 model (Pivot) conserves wines up to 4 weeks and the Timeless model ($250+) conserves wines up to 3 years. That is one of the differences. The Pivot model you have to remove the cork and use the provided stopper to press the pivot thru it to pour wine, whereas the Timeless model you keep the cork in and its a needle that goes thru the cork for pouring. Both uses argon gas that can get expensive overtime but if you are a wine lover/collector it is worth the expense.

I just replaced my first cartridge and the second cartridge won't dispense air. The pressure is very faint. Third cartridge is the same.

First off I love the idea of this product and I am not giving up on hope. I paid almost $500 Canadian for the six model and when I got it it appears to be defective. I went through 3CO canisters almost instantly as when I screw them in all of the air instantly leaks out. It appears there’s some type of a broken seal. I’m not able to return this for a replacement because it’s deemed dangerous due to the CO2. However Amazon was able to quickly refund this item. I am planning on using this refund to go and re-purchase this I am really hoping the second one will not be defective. I have to give this one star because of the terrible inconvenience I’ve had so far but I will revise this if the next one proves to work.
