Men's Plaid Design Dress Vest & NeckTie Black Turquoise White Neck Tie Set

I looked at the reviews and a few of them stated that these run large. I wear 3x shirts so i got a 3x just to be on the safe size. This fits like a 2x. Also The buttons are flimsy feeling and all the button holes are frayed and catch on each one.I could live with flimsy buttons as they're easy to fix but I need it to actually fit right.

The product itself appeared to be of decent quality and as advertised, but the sizing was absurdly small. I'm a fat guy and typically swing between a 2X and a 3X, so I ordered a 4X to be safe after reading some of the other reviews that advised sizing up. The actual vest I received was labeled as a 4X, but it didn't even come close to fitting. To ensure I'm not crazy, I had my 150lb brother try it on - it was a little snug on him, and he normally wears a Medium. In point of fact, I would not be surprised if there was a mistake made on the tag at the factory.

I don't know anything about sewing or materials, but my mother who has been sewing for years, said this vest is well made for its price. She said there are some things on it that take would time to make and it is not just shoddily thrown together.The tie is long and should accommodate any average person's height well enough, especially since it has a vest to go underneath. I am 6'2" and the vest is just long enough to reach my belt line.As far as measuring the chest, I might recommend getting a size that matches you exactly. (Unless the vest height goes down with the size?) My other vest is a small, so I decided to order this in a small despite the fact that I measured my chest and the small size had a couple inches on me. I thought, "Whatever, I'll be wearing a couple shirts and a tie underneath, it should bulk me up." But now, I am wishing I had gotten the extra small to fit my measurements precisely. The vest is just a tiny bit baggy.HOWEVER, there is a pull-ribbon thing in the back of the vest to cinch it up, so if it is too big, that will tighten it to fit, so if you want to play it safe and get a size up from your measurements, it can work. I'm just not sure if the vest height gets shorter with the smaller sizes.All-in-all, it is a decent affordable vest for occasions and my mom was able to take it in so it fits well now. I wouldn't be opposed to buying another one if I needed it.

Lasted all of about six hours before the first button failed.This was a cheap vest, with no pockets or other useful features. The plaid pattern is printed on the cloth, not woven into it.Wore it once to a Christmas Eve service, then again the next morning around the house. Then the first button failed. It wasn't the thread that broke, it was the metal loop on the back of the button. I would have to replace all of them to wear the vest again.

The vest was a perfect fit! Even though the item wasn't shipped directly from Amazon it was received in about 4 days. We will be ordering this vest in different colors!!!!!

I wore this with a matching bowtie and shoes to a wedding recently at a fancy venue. The color scheme is great, but the quality of the material noticeably cheap and even the smallest size was a little big on me. Over all it got the job done, and looked decent in pictures.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We ordered this for my husband's work Christmas party on the 6th in an XS and it was still an inch and a half to wide and an inch and a half to long. I ended up having to hem it on the sides and shoulders so it would fit him. The size demotions should be remeasured. Returning it was not an option as it's too close to next months event. Luckily after doing the alterations it now fits him.

I was very surprised to find this was very well made with good material. I expected some plastic looking vest and tie that would not last. But this will last for many years I will order again from this company!
