Excellent device for computer music work
This device has been exactly what I was looking for when I bought it - something I could keep plugged into the computer, and use when working on songs. It is small and light enough to readily work with on your knee, or pop onto the desk when you need it. And though the keyboard has only 2 1/2 octaves (by default C3-G5), it is very simple to switch it up or down an octave (or optionally up or down a single semi-tone), with a single key-press, to extend the range. Whilst very small and compact, it can be used to enter more complex things, such as program changes, by doubling the keyboard as data entry keys. It even has a manual which is written comprehensibly. The only negative point I would make about it is that the cable is very short (about 3 feet, coming off the left side of the keyboard), so I needed to use a USB extension in order to make it workable for me. I have had this for something over 6 months now, and have worked on many songs with it, and I am very satisfied.

Tastiera veramente ottima, sopratutto per chi produce musica, come me, su FL STUDIO.

More than pleased with this (Mac/Finale)
I'm a professional music typesetter, though don't do much as I'm also a text typesetter and musicologist, so those things take up most of my time. This means that I don't have a keyboard permanently linked to my computer, so if I want to typeset something I either do it the long way or I have to half kill myself to clear my desk to fit the full-size-speakers-included-weighted-keys Yamaha midi keyboard and find some place to balance the mac keyboard on there as well. Yes, stupid. I had no idea midi controllers were so cheap, and this one doesn't even have to have a socket to plug it into the wall because it's powered through the USB. Some reviews bemoaned it being cheap and not doing much, but for heaven's sake, what do you expect for £37? I reckoned I might be taking a risk, but this is perfect, particularly as I'm setting choral music with a limited range and basically single-note lines with the odd split parts. The tiny keyboard is very slightly shorter than my apple extended keyboard and a little thicker than the thick edge of the keyboard, so it's very neat on the desk. The keys are short and slightly narrower than my standard size keyboard, but only slightly. I was setting one note at a time, and apart from having to be a bit careful not to brush an adjacent note (just a case of getting used to the size) I had absolutely no difficulty. On occasion I had to check a note by hearing it in the chord, and I had no difficulty playing the chord with all 6 notes.I'm glad to say that it was COMPLETELY plug-and-play compliant with both garage band and Finale (using an iMac less than 6 months old). I didn't have to select any midi device, the system just found it and I could start typing in using speedy entry right away. The only function I've used is the octave up or down -- usefully the little buttons change colour if you've pressed one (and change colour again if you press more than once) so you can see at a glance whether you're transposed or not. I could set all of the soprano, alto and tenor parts without shifting 8ve, and most of the bass. If I'm really picky I'd say the length of the keyboard is mildly annoying because I did have to use octave shift, but a lot less annoying than having to get my full-size keyboard onto the desk, and I could have bought a bigger midi controller for more money, so I can't complain about that. If you're likely to have to do a lot of 8ve shifting then get a longer keyboard. The range on this is 8ve below middle C to 8ve above plus a 5th (g).I got the offer of the free trial period with some weird software that I didn't want, so didn't try it. The offer did come through though (by email, not in the box) -- some reviewers were annoyed they didn't get it.So overall I think I've got a fantastic deal, and am so relieved I can leave this little thing plugged in all the time or just push it aside; no need for power supply (USB powered), and I barely notice it on the desk. If you just want to hammer in single-line music it's a godsend, and once I've got used to it I'll be as fast with this as I was with my big keyboard.
