Just.... wow.
Within the words in my vernacular rolodex, there exists nothing with which to adequately express how enamoured I am with this story, the characters, and the artwork here. The copious amounts of thought, effort and time that has been lovingly dedicated to this is made clear the moment you turn to page one and remains so, unwaveringly, throughout. It is a wholly unique four-dimensional world Arcudi introduces us to, artfully crafted by both text and brush stroke; a world built of a lush, terrifying, and alluring history, spanning thousands of years and inhabited by gods and demons, humans from past and present and mystifying alien creatures, truth and deception, humility and greed, bravery and cowardice, at once. This has set a precedent for all comics/graphic novels/illustrated text I have yet to read.Rumble will always be a favourite of mine and, likely, of yours as well.

Went from hating to loving this series!
Coming off of reading BPRD i decided to check out John Arcudi's own comic RUMBLE i didn't care for the first vol that much, but still i bought the 2nd vol and loved it!Now here we are, i just finished vol 3 and how this story is amazing. I almost cried in the first 10 pages, the action scenes are amazing, i really mean that i read a ton of comics and no one at D.C or Marvel can match the action that happens in rumble! But probably my favorite thing about this series was the humour, from pet hyrda to the mutant monsters casually eating pizza and watching horror movies.

One of my favorite current going series
Of the writers involved with Hellboy, I have always favored John Arcudi over Mike Mignola given their other work. This seems to prove the point even more, and the Harren's demonic designs and the insane color palette keep me interested. Furthermore, this is one of the few comics where the characters actually be consistently become less and less cliche and more developed over time. The pacing is good, where one gets a nice mix of character development and action. The factions get more and more complicated and characters that seemed clearly villains in the beginning become more sympathetic as the comic continues.

I was sad at the thought when I bought this that the story would be coming to an end seemingly. The mixture of Norse-like mythology and sci fi weirdness I had grown to enjoy, and this volume finished this arc of the story well, with more to come.

Weird and wonderful with some of the best art I've ever seen.
One of my favorite books out there! James Harren's art is frenetic and powerful. Arcudi's story is just flat bonkers in the best way. I never know what to expect and I'm always delighted with the weirdness that unfolds. Top notch stuff!

fantastic writing and amazing art. I flew threw these.
This book has a refreshing humor mixed with the solemnly serious antagonist to create good contrast and fun story telling.
