Just what i needed, strong winds heavy rain, these pegs just didn't move,

I used the stakes for setting up a construction tent shelter for a mobile mounted compound miter saw and mobile table saw. I used a smooth face heavy framing hammer to drive the stakes into root laced soil and had to retrieve some of them with a large crow bar. Being that the stakes are aluminum, I expected to damage some of them but other than minor scratches, they were not damaged. I like that they are aluminum and even though the anodized finish had minor scratches, I will not have to worry about getting rust on anything the next time I use them.

Replaced my heavy steel stakes with these lighter weight aluminum pegs. I use these aluminum stakes for my tarp set-up. The nine-inch length has held very well in a variety of soils. The heads are threaded on to the stake shaft, the heads have not popped off and have held up well to a metal stake hammer. I've used these stakes for several trips so far in both rocky dirt and grass sites and am very happy with the weight, price, and performance. Have not bent any. These serve my needs very well. Would purchase again if the need arises.

I got these for winter camping. I imagine they'll be great for any camping. Are they big and heavy? Yes. Will they pull out or break? No. They are much cheaper and better designed than the Easton version. And if you want to make them smaller it's easy to cut them down and belt sand a new point.

Nice stakes, lost a star because the only option is buy 8 or none, I needed 10.
