Security Bike Lock 4 Digit Resettable Combination Cable Lock for Bicycle , 2 Feet x 1/2 Inch (Orange)

I bought this for my 6 year old to lock his bike up when he rides it to school. I was a little worried about the weight but he doesn't seem to notice it biking to school. No one has tried to steal his bike that I know of so it seems to do the job. It was easy to set and seems easy to reset. My only complaint is the dial is a little harder for him to turn. He practices a lot with it and I am hoping it will loosen up some but the first few times it was challenging for him to turn it.

As a college student living on campus, stolen bikes are a regular thing but this lock has work perfectly well. It’s not long at all but it is the perfect size if you live in a community that has parking racks for bikes. I have been using it for two months and it has no defects. The combination was difficult to set in my opinion so I would recommend you double check you have set the right one before actually closing the lock.

I bought this to lock my helmet on my motorcycle at work. I’m in an isolated area so criminal activity is rare. People just leave their helmet unlocked with no issue. So my need was meant to be a visual deterrent which is why I picked a bright color. The lock seems to be made of ridged plastic and I don’t see it breaking unless you do something crazy but with that said, I bet I can break it with a couple of pliers or a hammer. The only reason why I docked this one star was the ability to store it in my little pouch. I fold it like the picture shows but since this is made of rubber material, if it gets cold, then it becomes stiff. Cold being 60 degrees or so. I’m sure it would be more stiff in colder weather. Again, it is what I expected and what I needed.

Easy to set the combo. Lightweight and easy to use. I keep it in the truck and lock my bike after I ride and go to the store. Yellow helps me see it in the truck and also let people know my bike is locked. Bought a 2nd one for my son. Does back wheel to the frame.

In addition to securing a bicycle to a bike rack, I am using this lock to safeguard my motorcycle helmet onto the bike while I am shopping, etc. Mine is yellow so clearly shows the helmet is locked and not worth trying to abscond with. It is easy to use and sturdy. Very happy with this purchase.

This bike lock won’t unlock. Do not buy this unless you want to get stuck and stranded.Please I beg you DO NOT BUY THIS LOCK.You may think, oh this is just one bad review, this won’t happen to me.. but what if it does?You’ll be stranded with your bike, scooter, etc stuck to a railing and you’ll be like well I’ll just come back for it tomorrow with a bolt cutter.Guess what, if you leave your bike overnight somewhere that is not a residence chances are pretty high it’ll get stolen! Please do not purchase this bike lock. It’s extremely poor quality, can be broken by a $10 bolt cutter and will fail on you after a dozen or so uses. Eventually it will fail, because it’s built poorly. Meaning that one day you’ll get stranded.If you only need this for 1-5 times then go for it. But if you’re looking for something that’ll last this is not it.

I wouldn't leave a bike over night, it's a deterrent

Unlike my other cable lock it engages and disengage very easily.When we, (my puppy and I) go to the park, I needed simple bike lock for just a minute, with this lock I don't have to struggle dealing coiled cable, I just tie the tire to it's frame with this short lock, it works well and for my purpose and I love it.
