Very nice canvas backpack. I had a few problems... one of which being that I ordered green instead of light green specifically because green was prime and the latter was not (school starts soon). However, somehow, within the time period that I ordered the backpack and when it was supposed to ship, the green was not prime anymore (?!). So I waited much longer than anticipated (fortunately, it arrived before school started). The product is nice and cute, the color is a lovely mint green as I had hoped. It's a little smaller than expected, but will still work just fine. Zippers are all intact, and the straps are adjustable. It came with a matching bag and pencil case as described, both of which are very attractive and durable and seem to be made with good quality craftsmanship. There is a little bit of a funky smell coming from the items when you hold them close to your face, but nothing that won't air out in a day or two. I would not recommend using the shoulder bag as a lunchbox because it is not insulated whatsoever (I'm not sure why one fellow responded to a question asking if it was insulated with 'Yes').EDIT: After about a month of VERY LIGHT USE, BOTH zippers have been broken off and rendered the backpack unusable. I am very disappointed, and would no longer recommend this product.

This has ripped three times now. I've hand-stitched it back at the shoulder straps and at the top handle. While it is very cute, it is not worth the money. After three months of repairs, we are buying a different brand.

My children in elementary school go through one backpack each school year. This is an average quality set with one 16" high backpack, one shoulder bag, and one mini purse. They really love the neat designs and color coordination. Material is a medium weight canvas. I've applied some talc along the zippers for smoother actions. Long term durability remains to be seen. We'll be happy if this set lasts through one school year (including summer school).

My 10 year old loves it. The only problem I have is that the "pencil case" isn't big enough to hold pencils. I know the measurements are on the listing, but I just assumed that something labeled pencil bag would be able to hold pencils. Also, I thought the shoulder bag was going to be a lunch box. My mistake for not reading that closely.

This backpack is very cute and came with nice accessories, but please don't waste your money. In month 2 of use, the top strap came off. In month 4, one of the shoulder straps came off. I'm not sure what the manufacturer used to sew this together, but it isn't strong enough for even regular elementary-school-student use. I can't imagine how quickly it would have come apart if my daughter were carrying textbooks in it. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a good backpack from Hannah or LL Bean or somewhere quality. That way you won't have to buy a new one in the middle of the year.

My seven yr old is very happy with this. She is rather small for her age and this is not too heavy for her to carry. The canvas is sturdy fabric but on the thinner side so it is light-weight. Very pretty colors and the zipper slides nicely for her. We have tossed it in the washer/dryer once already due to the lighter color. It held up perfectly fine and came out clean.

This item worked for less than a month, then the zipper completely broke off. The issue is, I bought school supplies early- so it was out of the 30 day return period. We now have to spend MORE money on another book bag because 2 zippers on this one has broken :( it was super cute, but don't expect long term use out of this product.. even with a super responsible child (which mine is!)

Super cute, albeit the texture was a little different than the picture shows. After two months one of the zippers broke, after two more weeks another zipper came off completely. I don't know how to fix a zipper so the backpack became unusable and my daughter went back to using her last year's backpack.
