"Nuri" Portuguese Sardines-Many Flavors Available (Pack of 2) (Spiced in Olive Oil)

These sardines (and the other Nuri varieties) are about as good as it gets. They are firm and "meaty", consistently good in that regard as well as flavor. The spice heat level is moderate - but great flavor. Each can usually contains one clove, a black peppercorn, a small red chilli pepper, a slice of carrot and a slice of cucumber. Rarely, once in a while the clove or peppercorn was missing. I eat them on buttered sourdough with two or three scrambled eggs, some Lea & Perrins, hot sauce or ketchup. Excellent! Highly recommend!

These are my favorite sardines around. So much flavor, bigger pieces and great quality. Takes a little long to ship, but it’s worth it if you plan ahead and order a few at a time.
