Origami Tant (007200), 15 cm x 15 cm, 100 Colors, 3584

I’m not sure why this paper has negative reviews. I’ve been doing origami for over 35 years and this has become my favorite paper. This paper works well for tessellations because it will retain a memory of the folded grid lines without breaking down. I’ve also been able to find this paper sized at 13.8”x13.8”. I have also found that with all sizes the paper is as close to a square as you can get, and that is not true with all papers.If you’re new to origami or have been folding for a long time, give this paper a try. Don’t listen to the negative reviews from people who don’t even practice origami.

It’s tant. It’s a fairly thick paper that creases and reverses well. Good for simple and low-intermediate models; too thick for very complex models. It’s a good value for the price.

Feels good and folds nice

I am a papercutting artist, and I use scissors to make my designs. I do need to fold the paper sometimes. This paper isn't the best for more than one fold, so it's probably not good for more origami. But the colors are spectacular and I also like the texture of the paper. I already bought a second pack. Just note it is too thick for complicated folds if that's what you want it for.

Why are there negative reviews? This is wonderul origami paper. I fold lots of modular projects with 30 or 90 sheets of paper, and this paper has been mu favorite for years. This is a very good price for this kind of paper. Very good quality and folds crisp

The texture and weight of this paper was exactly what I needed for modular origami. Great creases and the texture helps to hold the modules by friction alone. I would have given it five stars but the color palette was fairly drab. If it was brightly colored- 5 stars.

I've been experimenting with various imported origami papers, and by far, this one is my least favorite. It's hell to work with.Quick to wear out from prefolding, brittle, crumples into a wad at the slightest movement, shows fold marks unflatteringly. I've tested it with the classic crane, Naomiki Sato Roses, and the Satoshi Kamiya Tsuru Rose, and have been very displeased with the results, throwing them away as failed... all of which I have a good deal of experience folding- heck, I've folded several 千羽鶴 (1000 cranes) and many different types of modulars and kusudama- I'm not a beginner. I've had better results from 20-24lb colored copy paper from Walmart, incredibly.

Ordered this along with the Tant 12 Colors (both green and blue) for my 8 & 9 year-old grandsons. They had great fun with these papers and appreciated all of the unique colors. I'm left with some innovative origami memories of their visit.

カラフルで安価で重宝しています

ちょっとした工作のために購入しました。文房具屋に売っている10枚入りなどの色画用紙だと色が足りないため100色入っているこちらをお試しで。大きさは通常の折り紙と同じです。紙の質は画用紙をもう少し柔らかくした感じでしょうか。折り紙というよりも切って貼ってという工作が目的だったので、このくらいの硬さがちょうど良く感じます。しかし、色は１色各1枚づつになっているので一度切ったり折ったりしてしまうと同じ色のものは作れません。小物を作るとはいえ、同じ色を何回も使うので個人的には少し残念でした。
