Bought it to do a few new connections I knew I was going have trouble with water in the lines so I didn’t want to try and solder. Ended up using it on a bunch of new connections just due to how easy it was to use. Instructions aren’t great but if you are buying this chances are you already get the concept. Wouldn’t want to try to do a whole building with it, but for the price difference with the powered Milwaukee or dewalt powered ones for 10-15 fittings it’s definitely worth it.

This crimper worked SO well! I was nervous buying it but can’t recommend it more! It blew me away the amount of connections I made this weekend without ANY leaks. I used both the 3/4” pex crimper on copper crimp rings and the 3/4” pro press crimper dies! They worked well. Tip: try as Make as many connections as possible out in the open before putting the tubing in place. It will be less hassle getting the tool into place and trying to hold while pumping. For two of the progress fittings…I held the tool while I had another person pump the handle to make sure nothing would more. I was really impressed. So glad I didn’t buy a different brand. Now I’m set for the future in plumbing. If you’re on the fence, get this tool!

This tool works great for pro press fittings. First time using the pro press system modifying an existing boiler system. 14 different pressed points and none of the leaked on the first try. 1" and 3/4" including 90s and reducing tees. All worked great. The only criticism I have is it dug into the fitting on the edge where press comes together at the tip. That is a little sharp and not as clean as it could be. Doesn't impact how the press fittings works but I can see this scratching you or catching on clothing. Overall I love the tool and made my plumbing project easy. Will use again and I recommend this kit.

it works as described, I successfully soldered the valve for the first time, but press fitting helps if you have no practice, specially when residue water starts to run through pipes

Easy to use. Great packaging. Has everything you need for press pipe. Great for simple jobs, would not use if I was a professional plumber due to being a manual tool. Does need effort to crimp completely.
