Ive never owned cowboy boots. Bought Justins a half size down, way too big. Bought these ariats a full size down and they were squeezing the life out of my feet. I decided to risk it and wear them to work, wow did they break in quick. Fit perfectly, toes have plenty of room, heel slips every so slightly, but they grab firmly on my instep. They gave me blisters the first day but a sock change remedied this. The insoles feel like your walking on a snuggly carpet. Only con I'd they scuff easily, I've had them for 3 days and the right boot has a few small gouges from two 14 hour work days. What you gonna do. They look great and I hope they'll hold up well working on my ship this summer.

Ariat boots will last longer than anything else out there, and that's a promise from me to you. I have worn, and still own, Double H, Justin, Laredo, and Ariat boots. My favorite thing about ariats is that they last forever under abusive use all day every day. The pair of these I have is 4 years old and they still work and look like new! just take care of them, oil them every month or 2 and replace the insoles every 6 months, and they will look and work like new forever! I have bought a few more pairs of these only to never wear them because the first pair refuses to wear out! Ariat also has the best customer service I have ever had to deal with and if you have an problem with your boots, they will bend over backwards to help you out!

My husband likes them, they fit fine. One boot rubs a little but they need broken in like any boot.
