This tool works, but it's very noisy and I would not recommend installing more than a few inserts at a time with it. The bearing assembly needs constant attention.

The compact size was a life saver. I saw the reviews regarding durability and I think I found the tweak that will make it last, I added a hardened washer between the thrust bearing and the “nut” piece so the thrust bearing has a continuous flat surface to ride on. If the bolt durability comes into question I’ll change it to a grade 8 hex head bolt. As of now, it works great and functions perfectly! I’ll update if anything changes.
