Although they look nice and have a nice fit they do not serve their purpose of protecting your hands from the hot handles on a cast iron pan! They may work on a different type but I bought them specifically for the fajita cast iron pans. When I picked the hot pan up, the heat was penetrating through the mitt I could barely hold it "not safe"Should be advertised as a decoration piece not for use on hot pans!!!!! They should not be sold they are dangerous!

By the time I moved my cast iron skillet to the counter, this grip started smoking and smelled like burnt rubber. I found this product to be very dangerous.

I bought these to use with my cast iron cookware. I like the neoprene material they are made of, they fit my handles well, if maybe a little big, and they work to protect my hands from the heat. They're pretty, too. The only downside might be that they grip well enough that they don't slide off the handle well when I want to take them off. Only a small problem if the pan is still hot. Instructions say they're top rack dishwasher safe, too. That's a plus, though I haven't needed to test that out yet.

Functionality is decent. Better than a silicone handle but still not as useful as a cloth handle. My biggest grief was that the item description on Amazon claims that this is a USA-made item, yet the item I received was clearly marked "Designed in USA, made in China."

The handle works for moving the skillet around on a stove but if put it on a handle on a skillet in a hot, hot oven you can't use it to remove it from the oven because it will stick to the handle before you can get it to slide on to the handle. So. It's okay for cooktop but it is not okay for the oven.

These are easy to slip on and off but I cook on a gas stove. I cannot leave this cover on the handle for any amount of time. I have to slip it on, move the pan or stir, etc., then immediately remove the cover. The problem is that extra tab. It heats quickly then starts smoking and smells like a petroleum product thats on fire!

They need to be a little tighter. They slip when carrying pan. I was hoping that these would be an answer to my cast iron skillet problems. I've lost my strenght to hold my large cast iron skillet. These are nice but need to be narrower.

This thing is awful. It worked fine at first, but after a few months of use, it is garbage. If it gets too hot it starts to melt. We have had meals ruined because this thing starts emitting noxious fumes as it heats up. Just get a cotton or leather one, these are the worst
