This is high quality food with good ingredients. My cat has lost weight and I have switched my other cats on it to maintain their weight. They all like it so that eliminates the need for multiple cat foods. It definitely curbs their appetite and I noticed they are not eating as fast.

My 4-year-old male cat loves this food and my veterinarian approves as well.

This product has small sized bites making it easy to eat even for older cats. The protein count in it is amazing as both my cats, age 7 and 1, display obscene amounts of energy after eating on it versus eating Crave, Friskies or Meow Mix(Nothing wrong with those products, They have a preference for soft centered foods). But those brands have more starch and food meals instead of actual meat which my cats love. I changed to this food uneasily because of the price but with how much energy and liveliness my pets display I won’t switch from it again. They love it, even the hairball control mix works for my Mainecoon.

i keep my kitty on this because he had surgery to amputate his back leg, and i must control his weight!! he absolutely loves it (screams for it every day at the exact same times haha), and he hasn't gained any weight on it. 1/2 a cup and a small can of wet food have been his daily diet for over 9 months, and he's happy and healthy!

My cat was initially over weight--18 lbs for a standard size neutered male!! I first tried the Indoor Weight Control and he was rather upset (no did not like that). I upgrade to Wilderness Weight Control...and bingo--Seamus loves the food! By staying strict to 1/4 cup in AM and PM plus 1 medine treat...he's down to 13 lbs. He has ultra soft fur--which I am guessing are part his genes but also part of the food he is eating. I've always loved Wilderness brand...and they have a hit for a 'low energy', indoors, neutered male!

Blue Buffalo has been my cat's food brand since birth. It contains some of the best ingredients & your cat will love the taste! I typically buy a new flavor from their product line each month, my cat has loved them all. So much in fact, that he gained weight a bit too quickly in his first year of life. My vet recommended any of Blue Buffalo's weight control products which contain fewer calories per volume. My cat hasn't noticed the difference!

Blue Buffalo always makes sure the first ingredient (the one that makes up the most of the food) is the protein you bought - in this case, chicken. Their life source bits absolutely make a difference vs food without them. This weight management food has been helpful in helping me maintain my cat's weight. I give 1/3 cup with some wet food and he has stopped gaining weight. Highly recommend Blue Wilderness Weight Control.
