TL: DR - fun sparkle for photos; star tips poke in so not great to wear for a whole eventNotes:- Purchased this for photos for my 9 y.o. daughter. My daughter has long, straight hair. Although her hair did get into the loops at the ends of the tiara, it slipped out pretty easily. No tangles and no fuss about taking the crown on and off.- She could feel the tips of a few of the stars on her scalp. "It kind of hurts a little but it is worth it because it is so pretty." I also tried on the tiara and would agree with her assessment - fine for a quick dress-up photoshoot, but not something I'd want to wear for a prom or other party-length event unless the star tips were resting on an updo instead of on the skin.- I tried to gently bend the circlet to be a little smaller so it would stay on her head better, but don't know if that made a difference. The metal is not especially flexible, so if you try it on and feels too small out of the box, you should send it back rather than risking a headache.- We just placed the item on her head as-is as we were planning to be quick. If you want the tiara to stay on for longer, you will need to string elastic or ribbon, or use bobby pins, to secure it on.- Having seen that other people had issues with the item being broken in shipping, I ordered this along with a couple of inexpensive tee-shirts so Amazon wouldn't try to put the tiara in a bag. The plan worked.

This star crown was gorgeous upon arrival! Tried it on and although it felt right, I was committed to wearing it for my 30th birthday celebration. After maybe 15 min of use, I had a tremendous headache and felt it was digging in to my head. There are no pads to prevent the metal just jamming in and putting pressure which was incredibly unfortunate. Loved the look, but would never wear this again.

Really beautiful! I love it, but it catches a bit on curly hair. The loops at the end are helpful but not necessary to use for securing.

This is definitely cute. The metal isn't super flimsy like on some tiara/crowns. This will only lay flush against your head, like a headband. So don't expect it to sit like a tiara. Unfortunately, some of the stars were broken off :( It was shipped in a piece of cellophane, and placed in a bubble mailer. Basically no protection for the more delicate stars.

I love the piece but I was disappointed to see it broke during transit. It wasn’t properly packaged and one of the stars was bent back and broke right off :(
