SIZE is wrong.
These may be an XL for a child but not for a frail thin elderly man. He has very thin legs/ankles and small feet - size 8.5 Canadian. These socks are super tight on him and very short, just above ankle height. We will be donatating them to the local loan cupboard. On a positive note, the arrived expeditiously after orderinng which is why it gets 2 stars rather than 1.

Sizing issue
I got these for my 5 foot 3, 125 pound 90-year-old mother; she has cardiac insufficiency so her ankles swell. She wears compression socks during the day and needs a soft sock with good tread for the night. These were far too narrow for her--and she is not large. She wears 7 W shoes, so XL should have been big enough.

Great sleeping socks
In cool weather my feet get cold and then if I wake up I have fumble in the dark looking for my slippers. With this socks I do not have to worry about my feet getting to hot because they are to thick plus I do not need to chase my slippers when I wake in the middle of the night. Great buy.

Nice socks
Similar to the ones used in the hospital. They last well through multiple washings.

Excellent replacement for hospital socks
This is an excellent replacement for hospital issued similar socks. In fact, might be better than the ones I have received during recent hospitalizations. I recommend them.
