It works just as the other reviewers say as well as the manufacturer. The case is handy and the various heat directors or tips help to focus the heat. I am not a huge heat gun user. This last time was for removing bumper stickers that had been on the back of a vehicle for a very long time and it worked superbly well... Lots of features, the case, all of it very well thought out and worth the price I paid.

I've only had it for a few weeks. So far it seems to work really nicely. It's a lot easier to handle than my old heat gun. The old one had a really heavy cord that never smooth out. It also didn't have the various nozzles to shape the outpup, to focus it where needed. I like the case it seems reasonably well designed. It's also nice that it has an adjustable temperature and several fan speeds.

When removing the carpet in our home office, we realized the previous owners glued the carpet down to natural wood floors. We wanted to salvage the flooring and remove the glue that had been there for at least 15 years. We began scraping by hand but it was a lot of work. We purchased this heat gun and it worked wonders! It does get very hot and can be dangerous if not careful. I burned my leg when i set it down and sat on the tip, but that was user error. The only complaint I have is that I could not stand it up when not in use. The temp control is not digital, it is a dial without numbers. However, this did not bother me. I did not have any issues putting the attachments on as other reviews have stated. The storage case is great and was ultimately what made me purchase this specific model in the first place.

It took me less than an hour to defrost my freezer using this heat gun! It was an all-day job using the heat gun I had purchased earler. Very pleased with all the attachments and I will be using it for some crafts I need to finish.

I've used it for shoe polishing so far. Had to turn it up higher than I expected (to about 6), but it does great. Several accessories included, the hard case is very useful for keeping it all together.

This heat gun works really well. It is compact and reasonably lightweight. It can be adjusted from warm to really hot! The temperature is controlled by rotating the large knob on the back of the gun. My only complaint is that this knob is not numbered which makes it hard to go back to the exact temperature that was used say the day before. Otherwise it's great!

I'm not a sophisticated tool person but I bought this to remove old (old--like from the 70s) shelf-liner from all of the cabinets in our office. I tried scraping it without this heat gun but it was taking forever and wasn't all coming off. With this heat gun it was a snap--way faster and oddly satisfying. Definitely worth the purchase.
