OK unit, it works with thin protective cases, but hard to find sweet spot
It does not get 4 stars only because it takes me awhile to find the sweet stop to make the wireless connection. The best part of this is that it works on my Samsung Note even with a rubber protective sleeve and the thin plastic snap on case. I have read many reviews where the units do not. I recently tried to get a car mount unit and it DID NOT work with the same case. The sweet spot is an issue. I first tried a stand type unit 3 months ago. It also works with the rubber & case, but it hits the sweet spot 99% of the time. 1% i simply am too lazy center the phone in the leaning stand. This unit just takes awhile to get the position set. There is a SMALL light to show that it has found the spot. That indicator light is not visible in daylight and not great in the dark. Plus in the dark I cannot see the precise position of phone on pad. I will keep this unit but only for travel. I will but a another that has the incorporated stand. I probably should of given it 4 as it does work, effectively, and even with the case which many do not have the power to connect through. Again the positioning thing is a problem for me,

Works good for Blackberry PRIV and Classic
I've only had it for a day, but I was really happy that it worked with my Blackberry PRIV and then found out it works with my old Blackberry Classic. I'm not sure why Blackberry didn't promote this cool feature more since I never knew about it when I got either of my phones, until recently. So when I first tried to use it I thought it didn't work with my PRIV, but I was persistent and watched a YouTube video about charging location for PRIV which is pretty low on the device. One super cool feature is that if your alignment is off a little or not optimal, the PRIV has a notification to align and then makes a target type image to aid in alignment - I couldn't believe it. Blackberry phones are the smartest smart phones with the dumbest marketing department - no wonder why the market share dropped so much. Anyway, back to the charger - it is really simple, a blue light comes on when charging, and my PRIV makes a sound when it starts charging. Apparently the PRIV doesn't do the high speed 3.0 charge since the orange light doesn't come on, but for a lower speed charge it isn't too bad. %15 takes about 20 minutes or so which must be in the 2.0 range - if I really need a fast charge I'll just use the 3.0 QC charger with the cable to phone. It is nice to be cable free, but it does take a little practice to place the phone in the right way to initiate charging - I found tilting the PRIV and placing one side do first before laying it flat seems to hook it up the best - it may be just the PRIV is a little finicky since the BB Classic picks up right away just placing it in the middle. Overall for the price it is a great little charger. Oh, and for the sound someone mentioned - this guy must have a bionic ear (although I don't have it by my bed) because the sound while charging is very slight if you have your face right up to it, sort of sounds like an electronic ticking.

It works with the case is on my phone!
It works great! I am able to charge my Galaxy S7 Edge with the the Supcase full body rugged case on it Galaxy S7 Edge Case, SUPCASE Full-body Rugged Holster Case WITHOUT Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (2016 Release), Unicorn Beetle PRO Series - Retail Package(Blue/Black) . I first tried the Samsung wireless fast charger but I had to remove the case to get it to work which wasn't worth the trouble. I am using an AUKEY PA-T9 USB Wall Charger AUKEY PA-T9 USB Wall Charger with Quick Charge 3.0 for Galaxy S7/S6/Edge, LG G5 (Qualcomm Certified) with this and I am getting fast wireless charging with the case on the phone. I've read dozens of reviews to find a charger that works with the case on the phone, this one does the trick, this is just what I was looking for.

SAMSUNG S8 PLUS ACCESSORIES
I bought 3 items together for my new Samsung S8 Plus Mobile Phone1) Carrying Case2) Wireless Charger3) Wireless Charger AdapterHere are the links below and all worked perfectly well and read my comments and observations.Spigen Neo Hybrid Galaxy S8 Plus Case Herringbone with Flexible Inner Protection and Reinforced Hard Bumper Frame for Galaxy S8 Plus (2017) - Burgundy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XP4Q83Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_JVZHoJlIlQkMR[Powerful & Smart] iClever BoostCube 4.8A 24W Dual USB Wall Charger with SmartID Technology, 2 Port Portable Travel Charger for iPhone 7/6s/iPad, Exte https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4IY7OA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_HpWHnN8kA66V1KMASHI Wireless Charger QC 3.0 Fast Charge Qi Pad for Galaxy S7 Edge/S7/S6/Note 5 and other Qi Enabled Devices https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M7XK8FP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_wcnMwidiLIGx9The case fits perfectly on a Samsung S8 Plus phone. Just remember you will need always to remove the cover when using the VR Gear. The Gear I presumed is designed to be used without a cover. Secondly you will never be able to put a screen cover effectively on these screens if you use any cover because of the large screen and rounded edges. It will peel of in a few days or weeks. However these new screens are of a very special scratch proof toughened glass and don't actually need a screen cover. Another factor is that the quality of the screen picture falls dramatically with a screen cover.I maybe wrong but this was my experience and observation. Others may have better solutions for screen covers. The KMASHI Charger charges perfectly well as a wireless charger. When you rest your phone on the pad it tells you charging on the screen in a big display. No need to waste your money to buy a Samsung Wireless Charger at about $89.I used this wireless charger and adapter and it works perfectly fine.VERY IMPORTANT- THE ADAPTER MUST BE SUFFICIENT TO CHARGE AT HIGH OUTPUT. DON'T SAVE MONEY ON POWER OUTPUT OF ADAPTER. OTHER WISE YOUR WIRELESS ADAPTER WILL CHARGE SLOWLYVERY IMPORTANT- THE ADAPTER MUST BE SUFFICIENT TO CHARGE AT HIGH OUTPUT.
