Dead Island Riptide Rigor Mortis Edition -Xbox 360

I paid $80 for this on the release date, and I see it's now listed at $44.99, but meh.I'll start with the game. It's pretty much more of the original game, so if you've played the first one, you should know what to expect. If you're new to the series, the next part's for you. And sorry if anything I give it incorrect, I haven't played it since the release, so my memory might be a little cloudy, and things may have been patched.To start, it's an open world RPG, and you have 4 or 5 characters to choose from (when you're selecting a character, they give a little bit of their own background). Each is unique and have their own survival/combat styles, so there's something for everyone. If you haven't been able to tell, it has a tropical paradise setting. But there's zombies. Everywhere. And lots of weapons to choose from. Like I said before, each character has their own strengths and weaknesses, and parts of their skill tree revolve around those (for example, a character that prefers hand-to-hand will have skills that increase their effectiveness, etc, etc). I can't really go too much into the story without posting spoilers though.As for the world itself, it's quite large with plenty of different terrains to explore. It's an absolutely beautiful world.Now on to the rest of the Rigor Mortis edition.I'll start with hula dancer thing. It's just like any other, if you poke it, it'll bobble around a bit. Nothing too special there. The bottle opener hand is pretty nice. It's real sturdy, has a magnet on it, works just fine. The bungalow key is pretty cool. I wanted to attach it to my keys, but once I received it, I noticed the wooden part is pretty brittle and I would be afraid to break it. It all comes in this suitcase (which is very nice quality). There was also a steelbook case included for the game.At it's current price, this is an excellent value.

Many people seem to be complaining that this is very similar to the last game and that should knock the rating down. I didnt but this game to be to different, I bought this game to kill, shoot, stab, bash, club and run over zombies. So far I have had this experience in spades. The only problems I am having is I need to find a place to take a shower as the stupid infected keep smelling me from a mile away. Other than that I am good. One really cool thing about this game is you get to experience hordes. I am calling hordes of anything over 5. You get more then 3 infected after you and you dont have a gun you are dead. Those things are extremely fast. I really enjoy this game. So far the weapons are awesome. I only have one lame gun, seriously, it is a lame gun. It does do well against suiciders. Regardless, the extras in the box, and including the box are cool. Well worth the money. A great game all in all and lots of land to explore. I could not believe how much land there is to explore. Almost like Skyrim jr. land size with zombies. I have been able to get to 90% of the places I have seen. You point, you run and drive and you can almost get everywhere. Fun game, dont listen to the people whining about how it is so much like the other one. Actually, this is better then the first one in my book for the hordes alone. The most I have had to fight so far is 15. Yes, I died.

Not nearly as much fun as the first one. The new character is forgettable. Not worth the $$. This should have been nothing more than a 1600 point add on at most. This game did not hold my interest enough to play it again, or get a 100% completion. Wait for a price drop.

I love them game, I love the extra stuff. The shipping was terrible. I placed my order December 12th, the estimated delivery date was Wednesday, December 18, 2013 - Saturday, December 21, 2013. The game did not ship until the 16th.Still I was optimistic that it would get here on time. I understand the weather was rough. But they delivery date kept changing. I was promised it would be here by the 24th. On the 23rd the delivery date changed to the 26th. I was not happy. I made a bunch of phone calls trying to figure out where it was. I finally found it and told them to make sure it was on the truck to get here the 24th. It did arrive but I'm not sure that it would have been if I hadn't called.All in all, I am glad it made it here before Christmas but disappointed that I had to go out of my way to make sure it was here. Like I said... I love the game and I love the extra products and in-game unlockables that came with it. Has given me many hours of enjoyment.

The outside of the box was frayed and banged up a bit, but keep in mind this is just to protect and show off the items inside such as the games, case, hula girl, etc. The only reason this bugged me is because of OCD and I like to display my stuff. Luckily it was only on one side. Now for the contents inside... Great, amazing! All perfect condition and very good detail. Very very happy. Especially for the price!

Ok my boyfriend had the first Dead Island so I thought I'd get him the second one "Dead Island Riptide Rigor Mortis Edition" he loves it. Plays it a bunch. He's had no problems with it, and it seems more scary then the first to me. The zombies tend to be a little more sneaky this time around. Plus I myself tried to talk him out of the cool case it came in, it's pretty cool. But he wasn't going for it, hahaha. The little hula girl is also zombified and seems pretty sturdy, so does the bottle opener. You can also take your old characters from the first one and use them in the second game too, so he liked that feature too. All in all it was worth the buy. Of course shipping was on time, I've never had a problem with buying and receiving items from Amazon and their vendors. I do recommend this game.Thanks, Sincerely,Monique C.

Bought as a gift. Lots of nifty little trinkets that are a decent quality and a fun game to boot.

This collector is amazing, the game is nice if you like dead island. The suitcase is very cool and the hula zombie is very nice. I like this and i recommand it!!!VERY GREAT BUY AND AMAZING PRICE!!!(38$)
