Easy set up, simple to use. Love the POE.
Set up is easy for those that know just a little networking. If you don't, pdf tells you what to,do. There is no power supply on the POE version. So remember if you set up your IP address at your local pc or laptop, and you are not using a,switch with POE, you will need the optional 6v power supply. You will not be able to access device on your network until you have set up your ip address for your network.. But any IT person knows this already. I like to keep a small POE switch handy for this exact situation. I set up the device in my office to the on site network, then I take the device to the site and plug it into the network. Just remember you need,POE or you need to purchase a power supply.

Very nice BUT
I like this sensor as it looks business like and I'm guessing it can handle a hostile environment. PoE is a fantastic feature. But, I think temp is off by about 4 degrees. Runs hot. I can feel the heat. You can change a setting to compensate but seems silly for a $200+ temp sensor. Agree with others that to get an accurate reading you need the extension sensor. 3.5 stars in my mind. I still like it.
