It is actually a locket- the two sides are connected via a small hinge and stick together with small magnets- this sometimes comes undone without touching it, but overall it stays together. Great price for what you get, and perfect for my Halloween costume as Rebekah Mikaelson from The Vampire Diaries! I was also pleasantly surprised by The Vampire Diaries stickers included in the package!
