As far as the antenna itself is concerned, it's 'okay' but not great for a phantom antenna. The antenna itself also had a rather large chunk of loose solder rattling around inside the housing, which although it didn't affect the signal, it was annoying and was proof of essentially poor quality control.The magnetic NMO mount is literally a joke in lieu of using it on a vehicle. If you are sticking it to the side of something stationary, it's fine. However, I would not trust this mount in highway speed scenarios or while under heavy acceleration/braking. The magnet just isn't strong enough.Moral of the story, you get what you pay for here. If you're looking to attach it to a vehicle (and you don't want to cut a hole in sheet metal), do yourself a favor and spend the $30-40 on a quality NMO mount. Then you won't have to worry about to springing loose when driving.
