These files are great. I've swapped The Gel Bottle files for these and they last longer and are much better quality. Be sure to file the edges though before use as they are quite Sharpe.

These feel very solid and sturdy to hold and work with. However, I'd read the reviews before buying, as I always do, and believed these to be suitable for natural nails. Not in my case. These are way to course a grit for my nails, and basically just chew them down and leave them feeling rough. I'll keep them for my hubby to use on his toenails, and will probably use them myself to smooth out foot callouses. 3 stars for being so sturdy and well made!

This was a big pack, so I’ll probably give a few of these away. I actually wanted something a little finer, but that’s my own fault for not looking into the grits before ordering. I tried these on my natural nails and they are great and expect they will be similar on fake nails.

Unfortunately, they don't last long enough for me to believe they are worth it. I feel like I'm switching to a new file after every use.

It is hard for me to figure out which is the rough side and which is the fine side.
