They are both 35 mm 1201 is a one needle liner and 1211 is a eleven needle liner or shader, the mast needle cartridge fit all pen tattoo machines if that’s your worry, now there are machines that are just for makeup and are very small almost as small as a marker, they might not fit those, but all others should be fine, I hope I didn’t confuse you

Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to use these but I did today and am so disappointed, the needle is TOO thin and bent as I was tattooing myself, then the ink didn’t transfer and I had to keep dipping in ink which was so aggravating. I can’t return it because it’s outside of the return window but do not get the 0801RL for lining
