Q: Does this work on the handheld Dysons?

It should, fits perfect on my DC 35. Great tool for cleaning the filter compartment on my dryer and my pickups cab.

Q: Is the Dyson 36 Flexi Crevice Tool capatible with DC65

The product description (last item) says "compatible with all Dyson models." Sounds like that means it would be compatible with yours. I was wondering the same thing. if it wasn't compatible, it would be an easy free return.

Q: Does it work on the Dyson DC59?

It is supposed to be compatible with all models except the Animal . I was not impressed with this tool.

Q: Can anyone tell me how to get the brush off?

There are two buttons, one on each side of the nozzle. Push them in and pull off the brush.
