Simply beautiful! You can literally know cero about magic and by reading this book (which is simple and easy reading although deep) you’ll know everything you need to know to go ahead and practice Enochian rituals. It’s a real modern practical gromoire.

When speaking with Aaron Leitch previously to reading this work he claimed that John Dee left a working system scattered within his collected works, I thought the claim was unbelievable. After all, I have been an Enochian practitioner for nearly 10 years and I put a great deal of effort into making a system work out of the original material. I knew there were gaps and I immediately became suspicious of his claim. However the quality of his other works had left a good impression on me, so I gave it a shot.That being said there indeed remained some gaps that Aaron did fill with his own conclusion but I am ever thankful that they were easily identified as substitutions to allow a clear understanding of when the historical work ends and Aaron’s begins. Also I am greatful that these substitutions were rooted in the magical systems that John Dee was familiar with and appeared to influence the creation of the Enochian system as to make them a possible authentic practice of the system. Also, I am astonished at how few gaps there actually were. Far fewer than what I had thought. As a conclusion to this work I do feel that Aaron’s claim that Dee left a working system to be true and I have found this work to be the most complete reconstruction of an original enochian system that I have yet to come across.The last bit I’ll speak to here is that I am greatful that Aaron separated the historical work from the so called “neo-Enochian” which later emerged from the Golden Dawn. I have compared countless books on the subject to the original material of a John Dee because the author didn’t identify the “neo” from the historical. This separation is huge to the ones searching for the historical system.This work is fantastic to the already familiar Enochian Practitioner as it is easy to connect the dots from this work to the knowledge you already have. I could see the countless references to be a bit overwhelming for the beginner but that should not detract them from acquiring this book. Overall I am exceedingly satisfied with this work. Great job with this one Aaron!

Aaron covers the ground with great thoroughness and insight, bringing to light some aspects of the textual material which have hardly seen the light of day until this edition. Useful, informative and entertaining.
