I saw the reviews before buying but took a chance anyway. Unfortunately most of the bad reviews were true. I wish I took a picture. Almost half of it were "mashed"

Ackee is surprisingly good quality, not too mushy, pretty firm. Good for my breakfast, ackee and callaloo and saltfish. I highly reccomend.

Home use. It tasted ok.

The food was salty coming from the can and I like that the ackee wasn't mushy but rather still pretty firm but not undercooked. It was perfect for me.

This wasn't even worth the discount! This by far is the worst Ackee ever. Even though it was cheap it wasn't worth getting at all! First it came sooner than I expected which was good but when I open up the box the can had several big dents in the can! Everyone knows that you should not utilize any kind of can that has several dents in it! And when I went to find out would they take a return they said this was an unreturnable item! I was not happy with this product at all! Buyer beware, I'm not buying again!

Too soggy

I have NEVER bought ackee that, when opened, looks like cornmeal porridge. Also, unlike other brands I bought in the past, the tins were just placed in a box without any packaging to prevent denting. This could be why I opened two tins of ackees that looked like cornmeal porridge.
