Quality jacket at afforable price
I read every review on this jacket,so I could be sure about the sizing and quality before biting the bullet. These are my findings:If you have a belly or any type of weight, you have to order above your size like others have noted.I myself weigh 175lb and I am 6'1, I ordered a size large and it fits me well. Not skin tight, so I could wear a layer underneath if I wanted. Sleeve length was a little long for fashion, but when you have your arms in riding position, its perfect. The jacket I received did not look like the one in the photo, mine had chrome plated snaps and zippers instead of the brass ones shown. Also, all of the zippers had leather lace tied to them (I didn't care for these, so I took them off). As others mentioned, the front of the jacket is what looks nice, the back and sides leave more to be desired, but for the price, it is acceptable.Cons: My only gripe about this jacket is the front zipper. Zipping it up with your finger and thumb on the zipper itself is almost impossible, as I feel like I'm using so much force that I could snap it off. I tied some paracord on it and the best way I found to both zip up is to pull on the paracord (or leather lace if you keep it) while keeping your hand completely above the zipper mechanism and close to your body, For zipping down, the same method just reversed.Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this jacket. The jacket is heavy, stylish and very affordable compared to other jackets. I hope my review helps you make your decision.

HEAVY leather protection and warmth
This is a *heavy* jacket, and even without the zip-in liner, it's quite warm. The leather appears to be either cowhide (probable) or kangaroo (maybe; it's tough to tell the difference, but I'm pretty sure it's cowhide.) The leather is not "stiff" like some other reviews have said, but it's not soft and supple like, say, lambskin would be. That being said, a good conditioner, like Leather Honey Leather Conditioner, Best Leather Conditioner Since 1968. For Use on Leather Apparel, Furniture, Auto Interiors, Shoes, Bags and Accessories. Non-Toxic and Made in the USA! would help. I've ordered some and plan to do the whole jacket over the course of a few days, working it into the leather and helping to break it in.The zip-in liner obscures the two inner pockets, so I took it out. There are two other pockets that sit outside the area of the zip-in liner, so you could still use it and have those, they're just not zippered (snap enclosures instead.)Speaking of, the zippers on this jacket are heavy-duty and will last a long time. All in all, well worth the cost.

Super Jacket - don't hesitate to buy
I saw all the positive reviews and let it ride. Buying a leather jacket is no small thing for me as I own 4 other leather jackets (dress lambskin, 3/4, bomber, and a full length trench) and this one is the meatiest and best quality of them all. I recently bought a motorcycle and needed a good riding leather and hit the jackpot with this jacket. I am 5'9 212 lbs/muscular with a minor gut via a 36 inch waist, and the XL fits snugly like it was tailor made. The shoulders are big and the arms are a little long and made for arm extension to the handlebars and the waist is snug with tie adjustments. This coat is definitely not made for fat boys so beware if you got a big gut. This is one of the best buys I have got recently and totally had to write a good review for all my other amazonians ;-)

The jacket looks great from the front
There seem to be many comments about sizing so I will discuss that issue first. I ordered an XL. I am 5'7" and weigh 182 lbs, 36 inch waist. It zips up with a little room to spare. My advice....if your waist size is 38" or above......don't buy this size. The sleeve length is a little long for me but I am a short guy. The jacket looks great from the front.....the back is not nearly so nice. The waist can be cinched up with laces. That particular area looks a little cheap and unstylish. Must be why they only provide one image, eh? The jacket is HEAVY. I would wear a lighter jacket for warm weather riding.

Nice jacket, but you better not order medium unless your waist is 33" or less
This is a heavyweight, high quality jacket, and looks just as good as the picture. But I was surprised to see a motorcycle jacket run so small, especially in the waist.I'm 5" 8", 170 lbs, and wear 34" pants. Getting my medium jacket on is a real struggle because it's very hard to get the zipper to come together. I can't really wear anything more than a t-shirt under it.The chest (I'm a 42 there) fits fine, and I wouldn't want a large because I think it would be too big in the chest. But the waist tapers a *lot*.The "sizing chart" is unfortunately just a generic chart that lists traditional suit jacket sizes instead of S-M-L-XL. So you'll need to browse around in the reviews to find the right size based on your own measurements. But if you can manage to get one that fits you, you'll probably like it. It's a pretty good price for a premium leather jacket.

This jacket is a steal!!!
Pros:- Quality! This is a very high quality well constructed jacket.- Design. A very well designed jacket. Pocket locations etc are all conveniently located right where they need to be.- Ruggedness. This jacket would offer a lot of protection in a motorcycle crash etc.- Price. This jacket is a steal for what they are selling it for.Cons:- Sizing. I had to guess, based on other reviews to get the proper size. In a short I wear a 35 neck 17 sleeve and bought a 2XL jacket which fits perfectly. The bottom line:I would recommend this jacket to anyone wanting this style leather jacket. Sizing is a little tricky but because of the quality and value for the price I would easily give this jacket a five star rating! What a deal!!!
