the packaging was great but the worms were few
the live worms were definitely not 300+. there were hardly any worms and that too they were too small. I got worms from another vendor and they were big and many. do not buy this.

So, I purchased the live earthworms for my composter. The seller indeed did a very good job in packaging the product as they were transporting live earthworms. The plastic box was fully ventilated. So, kudos on the packaging part. However, there is one thing which I would like to highlight here, which probably the seller needs to work on, if he wants to have 5-star rating from the buyers. And this concern has already been raised by other buyers as well in their reviews. The issue in the earthworm count. I totally understand that nobody can be precise about the count. Also, the seller has clearly stated that the count includes the earthworm eggs as well. However, if a buyer is purchasing, let's say 300 pieces. He/She would be expecting the hatched earthworm visible count to be somewhere between 150 to 200 out of 300+. Rest could be unhatched eggs as the seller stated. However, if the situation is inverse, that is not really justified. In my case, I, approximately, must have received around 100 live worms or may be less, which I could see (including the small and large ones). Rest could be the eggs, who knows. Well, I can't see them, and I am assuming the seller can't see it either, unless the packaging is done under a microscope. So, as a buyer, if I am spending close to Rs. 250 and receives, less than half actually live worms. It definitely is not acceptable and neither justified. Hence giving a 3 star rating.
