I received it today, came in two boxes and was very happy to see that the bed looks just like in the picture. It has a brushed bronzed to antique gold look. Assembly was very easy and under an hour. I do have a lot of hardware left and believe it's for the frame that hasn't arrived yet. Many comments referenced that the corners are not rounded like in the picture, maybe they didn't install it properly but the corners are wrapping around like in the picture. Please reference my picture for more clarity.<< Updated 8/14/14: Amazon removed the feature to post pictures. :(I bought the recommended bed frame "Sleep Master Platform Metal Bed Frame/Mattress Foundation, Queen" that doesnt require a box spring. I am amazed at the amount of storage I have under the bed. It lets me slide a big tub with lid, about a foot tall, under it and more.The extra hardware that came with the head and foot board was indeed working perfect for attaching the bedframe, no extra screws, nuts or bolts needed.I took pictures along the way but Amazon removed the option to attached photos, but i can assure everyone that the head and footboard look exactly like in the picture and the corners wrap around, and yes they do stick out a bit, about 5 inches on each side and once the bedding is added it looks like the picture advertised. Its been 2 months now that I have this bed and am loving it, it doesn't move, squeek or seems unsteady especially with the bedframe and mattress in place.

Adds a nice touch to my room. However, one must be careful when moving the frame around. The corners of the beds will bend in too far if it is snagged into the rug. Too much of that will just bend the metal and its off. The metal is not so sturdy. They are hollow circular metal rods. Easy to install. I had to buy the bed frame that goes with the head board and foot board as the one I had did not fit. They don't tell you that. Its serving its purpose. It does make my room look better. One other thing why don't they supply a base for all the legs of the bed. It looks undone. Other people will not notice it but I will and it bugs me when I feel something is not done right. It is an attractive set and one lady did think it was brass instead a variety of metal rods or pipes painted with antique gold and small black dots that u barely notice until u look close.

This was interesting while putting together. I ended up with lots of extra bolts and nuts after following instructions. The frame assembly was quiet fast and easy. One of my foot board curves doesn't curve like the rest. But I don't want to take everything apart and try to repackage it for a replacement. It is true to color and is very sturdy It is very beautiful in person and makes my bed feel even bigger. I love the curve-around feature. Attaching the rails I had to purchase separately was time consuming because I have a bed set on it's own frame with motor for feet and head to raise/lower. Getting those rails secured to this set hasn't been sturdy, will need additional washers/nuts.

Not as bright as illustrated, more of a brushed antique brass finish, but still quite pretty. As others have noted, the welding is minimal, but should be adequate unless you anticipate exceptionally athletic activities.The hardware kit doesn't agree with the assembly instructions. Assembly calls for only 12 of the long machine screws (for attaching the corners), and four short screws plus four flat washers (for attaching foot caps to the footboard). The remaining screws, nuts, and assorted washers serve no indicated purpose. They may be intended to be used in assembly, but it's not stated. If the are for attaching the head and footboard to frame rails, there aren't enough of them.Okay, regarding the hardware kit: four short screws, four lock washers, and four flat washers are used to attach the frame rails into the footboard, which is threaded. Four long screws, lock washers, flat washers, and nylons nuts are used to attach the frame rails to the headboard. The large plastic washers go between the frame rails and the Head/Footboard, eight total.In short, I'm happy with this set, and can figure out the minor strangeness.

Very cute and sturdy. It does slide around on vinyl/wood flooring. Recommend putting a rug underneath. But very cute and girly.

Super dissapponted. After reading so many reviews, I was confident in my purchase that it was the perfect bed, however it is Terrible quality. Expensive for the paint job and material used. The workmanship of the so called center designs is just bad. I rarely if ever leave reviews. But I had to on this one.

Ok so, I was so exited to buy and enjoy this bed and wanted it so bad when i first saw it so i bought it right away. it took about 2-3 weeks to arrive so when it did omg i started to put it together it wasn't so hard at all. BUT when i seen it in person omg BIG disappointment. the quality is CHEAP u can see all the bad finishing to it. no no no. it felt like if I would hold it to hard while i was putting it together it was gonna brake or bend. the paint job is CHEAP as well, I mean the whole thing looks CHEAP, if you pay attention. the price is not bad, but u still have to pay tax (of course) and shipping (they don't offer free shipp. which I think they should) alright so it came up to like $200 and something almost $300. After all I do LIKE the footboard and headboard, but i don't love it as much as when I seen it online. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, and if could go back in time i wouldn't buy it. CHEAP PRODUCT.
