Upgraded After Testing
Update #1 11-01-23I decided to do some testing of the product.1. Only the front of the heater gets hot during use. The sides, top, back and bottom remain at room temperature. This is at odds with what the Safety notes say.2. If you lift the heater or tilt it, it automatically shuts itself off. If you then proceed to set it right, it automatically begins working again. Combining #1 with #2 it means that you can easily move or turn the heater while plugged in, though I wouldn't recommend moving it more than a short distance without turning it off.3. The heat blows in a narrow range slightly upwards. It is very hot close to the heater. I tested this using a ruler. I held the ruler in front of the heater for about a minute and then pulled it away. The ruler was extremely hot up to the first eight inches. After that the ruler got progressively cooler up to about 14 inches at which point you couldn't feel any heat at all on the ruler.4. I used it all night in a small bedroom which does not have central heating. The heater did a nice job of heating the entire bedroom though it wasn't very cold last night, far better than the 250-watt heater I was previously using in that bedroom.5. When I used the heater in the bedroom I had it connected to a surge protector and not directly to an empty wall socket which I don't have available in that bedroom. The safety notes say not to do this, and I would recommend not doing this, but I am okay with it.All in all, it does the job nicely for which I purchased it, though again it wasn't very cold last night. I am only giving it a four-star rating because of the safety notes. They should have been published on this website or prominently linked to another website since there are so many of them and some potential buyers would find they make the unit prohibitive as a purchase. I ignored the direct connect safety note, however again, I would not recommend others do this. --------------------------------------------------I thought I could replace a 250 Watt heater with this one and get some additional warmth. Unfortunately, the safety list tells me not use this heater in my bedroom since I don't have a free outlet in the bedroom where I can plug the heater in, at a minimum of 3 feet from anything that might catch on fire or that is on their list of do not use.The list of where one should not use the heater is seemingly endless, Of course, it is for the consumer's protection, I get that.1. It includes things like don't touch it when operating.2. When in use only move it with the handle, which I couldn't find.3. Unplug it when not in use.4. Don't use on a carpet.5. Don't run the cord over a carpet or under a carpet.6. Don't use in a bathroom.7. Don't use in a laundry room.8. Don't use with children in the area.Plus, many more don't use situations.I am surprised it didn't say don't use with pets in the area or maybe it did, and I just forgot since I don't have a pet at this time.Anyway, the list of don't use situations, convinced me to not use it at all except in an absolute chilling emergency. I will just keep it stored away in case that emergency happens rather than bother returning it.I rated it a one out of five for three reasons.1. With so many don't use safety instructions, they should be on the Amazon website where the item is sold or at a minimum prominently linked to a website that lists them. You buy something you want to be able to use it.2. The instructions say, move only with a handle when in use and my unit did not come with a handle.3. According to the instruction list, the product is not safe for use with children, handicapped, elderly or pets in the area. Since I am elderly and not that mobile, I figured it wasn't wise for me to use except an absolute chilling emergency. It probably works great and that is why it has a high rating. i just like to follow the instructions and the instructions tell me in my circumstance that I should not use it.

Perfect small bathroom heater
So I live in a drafty house with someone who likes to keep the heat on at 62 in the winter. The bathroom plugs don't work, and I have to use an extension cord to get a space heater into the bathroom. Now, the bathrooms are rather small. Because of that, larger heaters are not always the best choice, as they're easy to trip on. I used to have a Delongi Safeheat bathroom heater, but i tripped on it so many times, it finally broke. Also, given that I'm using a 2 prong light duty extension cird I do not feel comfortable using a full powered 1500w heater. This small 500w heater is absolutely perfect. It meets all of my requirements and provides just the right amount of heat. It is a small, low wattage heater that takes up no more space than a Lasko MyHeat, while providing 2.5x the heating power. This unit produces just enough heat to take the chill out of the air and make going to the bathroom comfortable and satisfying. No more violent shivering on the toilet every morning!! This is also a huge upgrade from the tiny Lifesmart 350w heater I was using prior to purchasing this unit. The only downside to this heater is that it doesn't have a thermostat, but you don't really need one with this heater being a low wattage unit.I previously bought another 500w heater with a thermostat, and had to return it because it was some cheap Chinese brand that smelled horrendously of burning plastic and VOCs. It was so bad that I was actually getting dizzy from the smell. This heater without a thermostat is a far better unit than the low wattage heaters with thermostats.I always stick to name brand heaters now. And even though most common name brand heaters are made in china, they don't seem to have the offgassing/melting plastic issue that the actual Chinese brands do. So clearly the established heater brands have a higher level of quality control than the Chinese brand heaters do.

Does the job
I originally got this because my wife keeps it so damn cold in our house that I just couldn't get warm. So, I bought this little guy to plug in and keep my feet warm while I sat in my gaming chair to play games.I eventually started aiming it towards my side of the bed to help keep me warm in bed.Now it helps me stay warm upstairs in my gaming office. For a small heater it puts out a lot of heat.

Works great.
I used it last winter. Nice little personal heater. You just have to place it near you to feel the warmth.

Great performance.
I can't believe how large of a room this little heater keeps warm. Great size, it so small that it barely takes up any room. It's very quiet and doesn't interrupt my sleep at all. I definitely recommend!
