Awesome trimmers. Not quite as strong as plugin Wahl trimmers, but way more than strong enough.I use them as on-the-road beard trimmers, for which the are perfect! The larger/wider cutting head makes it quicker and easier than dedicated mustache trimmers (1” across cutters) for beard use especially the cheeks and under chin. The Wahl known quality blades don’t ever catch a hair and yank — ouch!I admit, they are not maneuverable as dedicated mustache trimmers.The only drawback is, being a vibratory motor driven, they are not as quiet as the the rotary motor driven cutters. But the ones that match this price don’t have the Wahl quality blades. And the ones that do are quite a bit more expensive. These are really not too loud for a minute or two use. (Though if I were a professional barber, surrounded by buzz-buzz-buzz all day, the quiet clippers in sound and in the hand, are probably heavenly).I have a rotary driven battery clipper set. It’s very quiet, but even when ~20-25% more expensive (and admittedly the blades are good) they just feel “cheap”. You can tell the driving motor is “just strong enough”. These Wahl’s feel professional grade — that satisfying *snap* as the motor turns on…ah, Wahl.For my intended use — 5-stars.

I’ve had great luck with these clippers. They work consistently, hold a charge for a super long time, and come with a variety of options for length. It cuts through my hair easily, and the trim is consistent. The guards are different colors, so it’s easy to grab the one you want at a glance—well designed. It’s comfortable to hold and use. Great trimmer.

Super impressed with the value, the ease, the color guide, and the great instructions. I never had success in the right and left side attachments before until now. But spend the extra money and get the model with the extendable blade handle.. but you know.. for the first time, I didn't even need it! There are so many attachments. The motor is fine, though still new, it has plenty of power. the case was nice and large enough and it comes with a little brush and oil (Don't over-oil). I was very happy with the haircut as I don't like the hair too short, it styled it nicely with the scissors it had. Just familiarize yourself with some YouTube videos on using scissors first, you will need mirrors to see around you and the back if you are self-cutting. Take it slow, and go in the right order, It takes a little practice.. and patience, and very soon it pays for itself! For a tip, ice cream!

Gets the job done! I think it's a good product for someone who cuts their family members hair. There are also combs and a pair of scissors included in the kit. The combs feel a kind of flimsy, but get the job done. The scissors however are unfortunately useless and no good for cutting hair.

Works great so far! I have only used about 6-8 times, but that's already enough to save on haircuts and this works well for my little kids.

I am usually not a fan of cordless clippers as they tend to pull hair or lose power easy, however, these are fantastic. They are very high quality, easy to hold, and work perfectly. This came with everything we needed and has held up well. The charge last quite a while.

I'm new to Wahl. And I tell you what, I'm never going back to my old clippers.I've bought Remingtons since my 20s because I was low on the economic food chain, they were cheap and serviceable, and I wanted to spend my money on other things. They were a pain to use if I waited too long between shaves, and quit after 2 years or so, which I assumed was normal.After my last set went Amityville on me (they started randomly turning on when I wasn't in the room! 😱), I was getting frustrated with the old pattern of short lifespans, difficulty cleaning, and bizarre dying behaviors, and decided to shop around. I was willing to pay a little extra to see if spending a little more would get me better quality. After some research, I settled on Wahl.Let's start with power: the motor on this thing is insane. While I was shopping, my old clippers were completely unusable, and the shag was starting to build up. 3 weeks I went without a shave. When these came in and I used them for the first time, I cleared away that 3 weeks of shaggy growth in under 2 minutes. I have pretty fine hair, but I have a LOT of it, and when it gets that thick I've always had to slowly push at my undergrowth in nudges to get anywhere, and go over it a couple times after that. This thing? I not only didn't have to do the threshing-tractor-vs-jungle nudge, I cleared every section of hair in ONE PASS.Ease of use: I'm a full-grown adult, and I STILL appreciate the color coding. Even if I'm tired and not paying the best attention, "RED IS ME" is pretty simple to remember. For families and teens just learning to be their own barbers, it would definitely make it more convenient.Clear instructions: the instruction guide is clearly worded with photos to illustrate uses/techniques (I have a simple undercut, but again, to someone with more varied needs, this is more clarity than you get with pretty much any instruction manual these days). The directions on maintenance and cleaning are simple and clear as well.Speaking of cleaning: I had a problem with my last set of clippers with hair getting stuck in the body of the clippers and not coming out. These shuck cut hair well away from themselves, and anything that does start to build up is easily swept away post-shave with the cleaning brush provided. The guards are similarly easy to clean out.I can't comment on longevity because they're still pretty new, but as they don't have a lot of the small issues that lead to early death, I expect them to last a good while. The fact that they have the ease of cordless and the guaranteed power of a cord, I've always found that I get a little more life with clippers with a cord option.Bottom line, these clippers are powerful, easy to use and versatile. (Did I mention the ear guards? Ear guards! I've never seen those in home grooming kits before.) If you're new to home shaving, or just want to up your game with a better product, get these.
