Q: I want a large light weigh leather purse

This bag is nice leather and light weight but I would not call it large. I would classify it as smaller. I love it because it has four good sized pockets on the outside and it holds wallet, glasses, hand sanitizer and small items.

Q: Size - The description is more vertical; the model is more horizontal. Which one is correct?

It is more vertical. It is a well crafted handbag.

Q: Can you explain the difference in colors between the moss crazy horse and the cognac crazy horse?

Moss is slighy greenish yellow, while Cognac has a Tan undertone

The strap is adjustable. I am able to put at longest setting and wear quite comfortably as a cross body bag. I am 5'8" and it rests on my outer thigh. This bag is wonderfully made of super soft leather, and has several zipper compartments and a slip pocket. I absolutely love this purse, bought two colors.
