BatesMen's 11" Paratrooper Side Zip Boot

I had a good sturdy pair of hikers from hightech that lasted me a strong 6 years and they were getting abit worn to put lightly so when searching for a replacement Im looking for something that'll go the extra mile like those guys did. When I found these babies I was abit iffy on the fact that they didnt come in a "wide" option the price was good and I honestly didnt feel like hunting about for something that would do the trick but would take a good few months to save up for so since I needed something before christmas hit I got these and Im starting to understand why I required a wide.on the left foot its a tiny bit snug but since Ive been using small hikers and not full out proper boots thats to be expected though on the right foot it hugs down abit on the back of the calf a lil too snug for comfort and alot in the ankle area which isnt all that good either minus that closing it up so far ends up in a crooked outcome not all to thrilled about that but I'll live.Overall in closing while I do love the boots dearly since they are what Im looking for in a good pair of boots I think a wide option would be greatly desired maybe in time they'll shape up hopefully

Wears well, little long to break in. Bring your old ones while you are breaking these ones in, may not make a full shift in them. Takes a good shine. May want to upgrade the laces.

These are nice boots for the price. I got them on a flash sale for 65$, couldn't go wrong. I cannot wear regular shoes if I will be standing for any length of time so (laugh if you wish) these boots will go fine with my black suits and tux. Wear Magnums all the time but they are too thick around the ankle to go well with dress pants. Likely I will buy another pair of these if I see them on sale again.

These are super comfy for us wide foot individuals. Seriously break-in was a few hours. Love these.
