My dentist told me that I needed to switch to an electric toothbrush so I found the specs and review to this one to be good. The brush head isn't too small like the other ones I saw, and it has two power speeds. It may be uncomfortable to use on your teeth at first if you switch from a manual toothbrush. But let me tell you, that your teeth will get so much used to it and after a while, it won't even bother you. I find that my teeth are just as clean as if coming from a dentist's office. My teeth feel so smooth and I can tell that it has gotten rid of any plaque or bacteria I may have. I have permanent retainers on the bottom of my teeth which can be a pain to clean and floss. But with this electric toothbrush, I can tell that it's cleaner than it has ever been as I glide my tongue around the area. I just visited the dentist and the hygienist was going about how clean my teeth are and how well I take care of them! And how I have absolutely no plaque, and I am doing the right things, and that I should keep doing what I'm doing. I was using a battery-powered brush that was cheap from Walmart but having to replace the batteries is a hassle. The fact that this is rechargeable and the change holds for a VERY long time is what I think is the best thing about this toothbrush. It may not come with a wall adapter, but you can contact Sonicare and they can send one in for you to use. Their idea is to conserve the environment by doing so which is fine by me. I just used a wall charger I've had and it does the job. If you're on the fence about buying this one, or any electric toothbrush-don't be. Its the best investment you can make for yourself and your oral health and I have not looked back on buying this. 10/10 recommend.

I bought two of these Philips Sonicare 4100 toothbrushes—one for my nephew and one for my niece—after their older electric toothbrushes finally stopped working. They both love them and are actually brushing two to three times a day now without being reminded, which says a lot. The brushes are simple to use, gentle but still feel like they’re doing a really good job cleaning. I’ve noticed they mention their teeth feel “super clean” after using them, and that’s exactly what you want, especially for kids building good habits early. These brushes are known for being effective at removing plaque while still being gentle on gums, which makes them a great choice for daily use. I have very sensitive gums and some gum loss, so this toothbrush has been amazing. It alerts me when I’m brushing too hard or getting too close to my gum line, which helps protect my gums. I also love the built-in timer that keeps me brushing for the right amount of time. Gentle, effective, and highly recommended! 🩷🪥

I really like this toothbrush, the sonic technology leaves my teeth feeling exceptionally clean, almost like a professional dental cleaning. The pressure sensor is a great feature to prevent brushing too hard, and the overall battery life is excellent. The only thing to note is that the included brush head is a bit smaller than normal manual toothbrushes or older electric models. It takes a little getting used to because it covers less area at once, but it actually makes it much easier to reach the back teeth and tight spots. Overall, it's a fantastic, high-quality toothbrush!

I've been using a manual toothbrush for years. I never felt like I could get my teeth clean enough with them, but I didn't want to shell out the money for a pricey electric toothbrush. After having gum recession from brushing too hard, I decided to try an electric toothbrush out. I bought it for $55, and honestly, I love it so much I would've paid $85 for it. It works great, it's comfortable to hold, super easy to use and it gets my teeth so nice and clean. It makes brushing so much easier, and I love the pressure sensor, it stops me from brushing so hard. The heads are a wee bit pricey to replace, but they only need to be swapped every 3 months, and all of the Philips ones are interchangeable. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and only had to charge it once so far. I love the pink colour, and I love that it doesn't have any nooks or crannies to trap water and grow mold like toothbrushes 15 years ago had. Highly recommend, it's the best purchase I've made all year.

This has been game-changing for my dental routine. Instead of brushing hard and pressing too much into my teeth, I allow the brushes to glide over and the vibrations do the rest. I get such a glistening clean effect that I never got from my old electric toothbrush. The battery is fantastic, it can last me upto 4 days with cleaning twice a day. The extra setting is really good and flosses alongside my WaterPik, leaving a really deep clean. It's very good at what it does. I love the fact it's pink, too. Perfect for His and Her's sides of the bathroom, with my fiance's sonicare on the other side of the sink. Great product! Easy to use and incredibly effective. Thank you!

Absolutely unreliable. Bought 3 pcs for family, 1 stopped working after 2 months (no charging). For other 2 after 6-8 months the rubber rotted, it’s no longer waterproof, and they stopped working after getting wet. I pretty sure that this model is failure and Phillips is aware. What are the chances that all 3 pcs stopped working within one year.
