Good Motherboard With Plenty of Ports
I purchased this board to replace an ASUS ROG X-470F motherboard that died. Pros: This board has the same number of SATA ports as the 470 (6), which was important for me, because all my games are stored in SATA SSDs. This MB boots quite a bit faster than my previous board. That’s always a plus. Built-in Wi-Fi controller. While I had a Wi-Fi expansion card for the x470 board, it was good to have it built-in to help clean up the interior of the case. Plenty of ports. Not only the above mentioned SARA ports, but plenty of USB ports, as well, including support for front-of-case ports. I have 6 USB cables plugged in and still have two free ports in the back, and 6 more on the case top. Drivers included on CD/DVD. This is a big deal to me, because newer boards don’t appear to include them. PNP picks up much of the drivers, but not all. Without included drivers, you might have to go to another machine to download them. That’s not customer-friendly. Cons: The Wi-Fi antenna is non-magnetic. This allows the antenna to slide off the case way too easily, diminishing the signal from the router, if you don’t notice it immediately. The Aura lights are not on top of the board. If you have ARGB light bars, it can flood out the boards built-in lights. DisplayPort and HDMI ports included, but so far, I have not been able to find integrated video hardware. This one has me confused.

used but not abused
Purchased as Amazon Warehouse "Fair" condition motherboard. This ASUS board is immaculate and still had plastic on the bridge heat sink which I have now removed. I discovered that the topmost m.2 heat sink had already had the protective plastic removed from the thermal pad while the bottommost m.2 heat sink did not. The bottommost m.2 slot was missing the m.2 standoff screw which seems to be a different screw from industry standard. Nothing on the board damaged. The original box and documentation was not included which is fine. The i/o shield was included in box. I noticed the wifi antenna was destroyed as the cable gold screws were ripped off so I used my own antenna. Additionally, two sata cables and what appears to be a fan splitter for an NZXT case were also included for some reason? lol Most importantly, it posts just fine and the bios recognized my Ryzen 7 2700 immediately (despite not being on the official list of compatible CPUs for the B550 chipset). For the heavily discounted price I purchased this for, I am very pleased. I hope I can also use this motherboard for many years to come as well. Update 6/6/2024 Still going strong. No issues.

TUF boards only in this house
I used this board for my niece’s PC but. I have a 550-Pro, and this board is identical minus the USB-c front panel, a few of the USB ports in the back, and a couple less RGB headers. Otherwise, it is the same. This does have Wi-fi and Bluetooth built in unlike the 550-Pro. Great board to build on. Quick tip just like the 550-Pro if you use the second NVME M.2 slot Sata port 6 will not work because they share the same lane. If you do not use the second NVME you have use of all 6 sata ports, but keep in mind you will lose one if you do. 5 Sata ports is more than enough these days especially if you have a massive Gen 3 NVME in the second SSD slot. And my final tidbit, you this MOBO supports up to a Ryzen 9 5950X if you flash the bios to version 0303. So, if you have a Ryzen 3, 5, 7, you can upgrade all the way up to the Ryzen 9 5950X with this board in the future.

Great Stable Solid performer. Wifi/bluetooth drivers from ASUS website do NOT work.
Solid main board, and very forgiving of mixed ram sets, trains better than many boards in its class. Getting the drivers for this boards built in Bluetooth/wifi is a complete pain in the but. The manufacturers support is utterly and completely useless, pointing you to their web site which does NOT deliver the correct drivers for these functions. They don't listen, don't acknowledged their website providing the wrong/unusable drivers, , and eventually just stop responding. Once you get the correct drivers, this is one fast, flexible, solid performer worth the trouble getting the drivers youlll need.

ASUS Quality is truly lacking with this Motherboard, (3 arrived dead), upgraded to X570.
I totaly wasted my time when i had little or none to spare. I ordered "3" MB's from here which came directly from ASUS. Keep in mind I've been buying ASUS products since about 1983, and never lost a single mb, or card. This time was rediculous. Got the first one, and called Asus Tech Support about it not booting up!. BAD x64 slot or some such nonsence. no lights, so went out and bought a new PS. Still No luck!. .Shipped back to Amazon. #2: Got lights, but wouldn't boot: replaced RAM ($500). No luck. Shipped Back to Amazon, although they said "If I shipped it to them, they'd Send it to repair, and ship me a new one if they couldn't get that one to work (10-15 business days)! "No THANKS, Shipped back to Amazon, got refund in 1 day. :) #3: This one was dead as a Rock when it arrived, would do nothing, No boot, no lights, no nothing! Called Mobile Geeks, told them my problem, then sent out a techy guy, and he coldn't figure anything about it other than what I already knew a oversize paperweight, Shipped back to AMAZON. ASUS 3 Strikes and youre out. Gave ASUS 1 More chance: Upgraded to X570 (again ASUS), and this one was AWESOME, still have it, and it worked fine, cept for their lighting software doesn't do crap, had to buy an exernal one, get bunch of extensions for my lights, and still only about 1/3 of them are controlable. Good luck, probably another 5 years before I upgrade again, $2000 was pretty salty, but gota have one of the fastest to keep up, and eventually move to Win 11.

Its a motherboard and it does it's job, but read.
I thought it had an input type c to connect it to the case, but it doesn't, it only has its own type c. You should open the website and see the blueprint of the motherboard to see what to get in advance. I bought a type c input pcie for my case to connect it to the motherboard. I also got a fan hub. Everything else was spot on.
