Window Clings Bird Deterrent by Window Alert - 4 Hummingbird and 4 Butterfly UV Reflective Decals - Includes Squeegee

I placed a number of these Window Alert decals on some windows of my home which birds have flown into in the past. This isn't based on any kind of rigorous observation, but I have not heard any bird collisions in my home since I installed them. The decals were easy to place on the windows, and have adhered tightly to the window surfaces without any fuss. The decals are not invisible to the human eye when they are placed on windows, but they are unobtrusive and their bird shapes are suitably decorative. This product includes a felt covered squeegee which makes it easy to smooth out any air bubbles or lumps when you apply the decal. It was helpful, and might even be of use when you have to put stickers on other surfaces.

I bought these to put on my sunroom window. to prevent bird strikes. I believe they would work great on any window. However, I had sun protective film on the inside of my windows to prevent damage to the fabrics and deter excess heat, which make the windows very reflective on the outside. Even with these stickers, I continued to have bird strikes. I searched online and saw where several people recommended using a paint pen to make vertical lines (Not horizontal) 2-3 inches apart on the outside on the window as birds do not like to fly though vertical lines. This in addition to the stickers has made a difference. The sticker overall are very nice and do not detract or obstruct the view.

This product solved a recurring problem with birds hhitting our kitchen window. Before we put up these decals, we would get one to two hits a day. Many times the poor birds would eventually get up and fly off, but I read most of those probably died later. Now, we are getting zero hits since putting them up. Great solution.

THESE REALLY DO WORK! SURPRISED ME HOW WELL! We currently live in an older home with original floor to ceiling windows. We also live on a wooded lot so there were birds striking these windows all year long, especially during winter. Purchased 4 sets to cover all the "strike zones" and to my pleasant surprise, NO MORE BIRD STRIKES! Yes!!! They DO NOT OBSCURE YOUR VISION when looking out; the patterns are very well designed; very easy to apply. If you want to avoid picking up dead birds in your backyard due to window strikes, these really will do the trick. Spend a little money - save a lot of birds!

These do not work! I put them on various windows to keep the cardinal from flying into the window. The cardinal continues to fly into numerous windows of our home including the ones with the decals on.

The female cardinal who was suicide bombing our picture window didn't stop when we put these up--we had to tape up a piece of paper to finally drive her off.
