Dear customer, thank you for the question. The diameter of the 1.2L  bottle is exaclty 9cm.  Please be noted, a double-wall vacuum insulated chamber makes this model a  bit bigger and it doesn't fit regular cup holders.  Best regards, BEOLA Customer Support

Is this water bottle cap is made of silicon or plastic..??

Comes with 2 caps, one with a nozzle and the other is just a cap, both made of plastic with a siliconn gasket for the cap, and a gasket for the drinking nozzle on the second lip, all in all I love this bottle, had it for a couple of years and has been working fine since, its made of good quality material

We want to assure you that the material of our water bottle, which is made of PP plastic, is commonly used by 99% of brands you may find in the market and is considered safe for use with hot beverages under normal conditions.
While extreme temperatures may cause some plastics to release chemicals, the melting temperatures of our water bottle are far from the temperature at which hot beverages are typically consumed. Therefore, there should be no problem with using our water bottle for hot beverages under normal conditions.
However, we do not recommend using our straw lid for hot beverages, as sipping from the lid may cause burns. The straw lid is designed for use with cold beverages only.
