My original antenna came unscrewed and flew off while driving. It didn't break off. The one you sent me is yo thin...it just drops in instead of threading in.Terrible product. I expected it yo thread in and it was advertised to fit my 2007 Tacoma. Very disappointed. Would appreciate one that firs or a refund.

So, not too much to say - i bought this to replace my Tacoma's stock antenna that i kept hitting on things; i wanted something shorter and sportier looking, WITHOUT compromising my radio. I feel like this antenna has done both for me.The design feels like a pretty typical rubber ducky style antenna, but it is very secure and feels well made. At highway+ speeds, it deflects a little bit, but does not permanently bend. More importantly, reception is excellent; easily as good as stock. Traveling to Crystal River, FL, i have no problem picking up my favorite radio stations (97.9) broadcasting from St. Pete (Over 60miles away). City reception is equally good.So far, no regrets with the purchase; ill update more if i see any problems down the line.

I wanted to get a smaller low profile antenna. I found this and wondered how well it would work. It works just as well as the factory antenna and looks great. Very happy

I commute through a fairly remote area for work and listen to FM radio to-and-from work. I did notice an obviously signal degradation with this antennae over the factory antennae. It's also presented as being flexible (based on one of the product images) but when I pushed on this antennae with my finger, it barely budged. Perhaps it's designed to move under force without breaking any internal component, but I am not going to press my luck because it feels rather cheap, truthfully.All-in-all, I still pick up all of the stations I picked up before, but not as clearly. And because of the apparent lack of flexibility, I'll still be taking this off if I enter a carwash. But it looks good, at least :\

My original factory antenna was bent going through a car wash. I found this one online, and it seemed like a good replacement upgrade. Installation took all of a couple minutes. No loss of reception thus far, and it looks much better to boot. I’m a happy customer.

Waited to write a review. Purchased this because I was tired of removing my stock one at car washes. East to install and since then I have run it through the car wash several times with no issues. I have had no drop in signal and it looks great on my Tacoma.

I am giving this 2 stars simply because it’s appearance is neat. If you need an antenna for reception, DO NOT BUY this one! And maybe it’s my fault for not reading the entire description. It does state the main purpose of this antenna is for appearance, however when I see an antenna advertised for sale, as a customer, I assume it provides decent reception (at least for local stations). As soon as I installed this, one of my local stations was pure static. I checked other stations also and they were mostly static with occasional clarity.Granted I don’t use my radio a whole lot (Now that I have Apple car play), however, I truly believe even an aluminum stubby antenna should demonstrate the ability to provide reasonable reception. As a reasonable consumer you expect this item to function. It should not be advertised as an antenna if it’s main function is not to serve as an antenna.

** Updated review ** 9/5/20Initially was very excited with this 13" All-Terrain Antenna and gave it 5 stars. It longer hit my garage door as I entered and exited my garage. Reception was great. Didn't have long enough to determine if the finish lasts or not. Drove it through the car wash today for the first time where it was promptly snapped off. Now I get to figure out how to get out the broken threaded brass(?) bolt so I can put my original antenna back in. I had really hoped I found a great replacement antenna. This one didn't even last a month. I would suggest removing it before going through the car wash. The flexibility of the mast didn't seem to matter.***** Original Review ***** 8/22/20Purchased this 13" All-Terrain Antenna so my antenna wouldn't keep hitting my garage door as I pull in and out of the garage. I was concerned with losing reception but if anything the radio stations I listen to are coming in clearer. I purchased this for my 2015 Toyota Tacoma and it fit perfectly. I made sure to follow the simple instructions (like making sure the threaded bolt is securely tightened to the mast). I judge the signal strength by being able to see the display of the song being played and radio station on my head unit. Before, when I got to my house, I could hear the music station but the song and station information didn't display. Now I see the song and station information displayed from my driveway. I would call that better reception. I am happy with this antenna and would recommend it. I haven't been through a cold winter or car wash with it yet but I'll update this review if anything changes.

Works great on my 11 taco. Super clear, may suffer very slight range reduction but it doesnt get slammed on my garage door everyday either. A little blue loctite goes a long way.

Great quality, easy to install and radio reception is as good as if not better than OEM antenna.
