I got this as the refill to the pina colada flavor and my fiance liked it even better. He had a loose molar on one side and an abscessed wisdom tooth on the other. It was quite a bit of time for us to save the huge amount of money for the procedure and then the wait for the initial appointment then another well if antibiotics before he could get the work done. He wouldn't have made it without HurriCane gel. It even helped with the post-op pain as they only told him to take Ibuprofen for the pain.This not only tastes better then the maximum strength ambesol, it works better. He needed it for the upper teeth. Ambesol just runs off and deadens your tongue. HurriCane gel is thick like a paste so it stays right where you put it.The dental hygienist even praised it saying it was just as good as what they used in the office.

Works well

Bought this for some tooth pain. I've used the cherry flavor in the past so I know the product works. The cherry was an okay flavor, still "mediciny" tasting, but it worked. I saw the watermelon flavor and read the reviews in which some ppl said it had a weird aftertaste. I was somewhat hesitant to order this because it was a two pack and in a flavor I've not had before. I gave it a try for a couple of reasons; it could be delivered the next day and it was cheaper than the cherry flavor for some reason.Now that I've tried it, I like it so much better than the cherry. To me, it doesn't seem to have an aftertaste just the watermelon flavor. The only problem I've encountered is that it's clear. I use a Q-tip as an applicator and I can't tell how much I'm using. This will make it harder to use as it gets closer to the end of the bottle. It may offend some ppl (those against the use of dyes), but adding a little pink color would make it easier to use.

Grandson as new braces and I have new implants. We both need relief from sore gums and relief from biting/tears & cuts inside the mouth. This is a good option with the watermellon flavor and last so we can finish a meal or get some sleep.

Hands down the best topical gel out there. This is the same gel the dentists use before give a shot. I’ve used a lot of products, this is by far the best. Don’t let the price discourage you. It’s well worth it.

I was first given this by a dentist when I had a root canal. This product is soooo much better than other dental remedies. It numbs the area so well. I always make sure I have some on hand just in case I experience any type of dental issues. I just gave some to a neighbor who was in agony before she could see her dentist. It worked wonders.

I've been using Hurricaine Gel since my daughter's pediatrician first recommended it for teething pain back when she was cutting her first molars. She's 30 year old now, and it's still a staple in our home. There have been so many flavors added since then, but this has been our favorite for the past couple of years. The anesthetic in Hurricaine Gel is almost similar to the shot your dentist numbs your gums with in their office. Obviously not as long lasting, but it goes to work quickly when you have dental pain, and it doesn't have an unpleasant aftertaste. This little jar is so concentrated it lasts a LONG time, too!
