is there any difference between the Pocketboy 170 sold with medium teeth and the one sold with large teeth?

On paper there is only a couple of mm difference in tooth size. In practice this translates in a couple of seconds in quicker cutting on an average limb. For me, being a horticulturalist it's worth it. For you it may not be. I use the medium for general use and the large toothed for larger limbs. I also have a fine toothed blade for delicate tasks. For me, the nuances of pruning require more precision in the use of tools/blades.

What is the best silky saw for cutting bone for hunting?

Saws with medium teeth work best. We have found the GomBoy 121-21 works best (ASIN B000CEAX8S).

how long is it when folded?

It fits in typical pocket sticking out just slightly. I can't recommend this thing enough though, it cuts like a hot knife though butter.
