Great shapes
They stick to our homemade felt board we fashioned with Martha Stewart's help. Our three year old has played with them a little, mostly when we play with him. I think this will be one of those toys he grows into. I remember when I was five years old in 1986 I would watch the kindergartner teacher, teach us about farm animals using her felt board and cut out shapes. At that age I found it was fascinating, and I am sure when my son gets to that age he will start to give these more use.

Cute animals. Not sure about durability yet, just got them. I thought I would include a picture cause there weren’t any when I purchased. So for me, the green boarder on the outside of the figures was a surprise. I bought the board separate. It has a flannel side and a felt side. Both work, but I actually like the flannel better (which is shown in pic). The felt sticks better to the flannel than it does to the felt.

Great traveling toy.
GREAT TOY FOR TRAVEL. First I bought a large 11x14 piece of felt at A.C. Moore for my grandson to put these felt figures on, and he carried them all in his little toddler backpack on the plane. Kept him busy and quiet on the flight ( along with a few other toys). These are really very nice farm felts figures.

Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
These are great. My kids had a lot of fun with them until their room because a safety hazard and I "relocated" bags full of God knows what. I think these would work best in a home where people are able to keep their children's rooms more organized. Still, if you can do that, these are great for pretend play, and it is cheap and easy to make your own felt board with a large piece of felt, a precut board from a home improvement store, spray glue, and a staple gun to secure the felt around the back of the board. (Just keep the cat away!)

Cute characters
I got these for my son to play with. The characters are cute and very nice. Only problem I have is that they don't stick well on our felt board. Not sure if it is our board or these.

This set has a lot of durable pieces for the price. Besides singing "Old MacDonald" you can talk about what animals are on the farm, where would you find them, what sounds do they make.
