Directional integrity. Awesome feel.
Okay, I'm an iron cobra enthusiast. But this beater style is by far TAMAS best. Whether striking directly center of the kick, or slightly off center for a double pedal. The sound and feel are the same. Excellent consistency.

I’m aware of others saying the felt falls off
I read the reviews about the felt falling off. I’ve had this for a little over a week. The shells, throne, beater, and a few other things are brand new from last week. The sound is perfect, I love it. Feels great on my Tama iron cobra 200 pedal. I hope it doesn’t fall off, if it stays then 5 stars

Great sound/feel
My favorite beater, small area concentrates energy in a small area, like how the long, rubber piece offsets the rod away from the drum head too. Good leverage, light also. Sounds great !

Replaced older beater style
I replaced the older beater style with these. Very easy to install. The rebound is better and the sound seems a bit punchier.

Works great and bangs the drum slowly or rapidly depending on your mood and skill level.

Worth it
Nice solid kick drum beaters, way better than those white tama beaters that wear out too quick.The only negative was that the black felt material on one beater was smaller than the other (I ordered 2 and each came in a single pack). I used the smaller one as the passive pedal on my double kick. Figured if it’s gonna affect it may as well put it on that one since it gets used less.Overall worth the money.

Sounds great
Definitely gives you a more punchy sound, but I’m not completely sold on the quality. The actual foam part is much longer than most beaters and seems like it could break or rip pretty easily.
